DAY 1 -ARRIVE IN PARIS
Arrive in Paris today and check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Spend the afternoon losing yourself amidst the artistic heritage, sophistication and famous landmarks of the city of love - one of the most wonderful destinations in all the world! Sample delectable French cuisine or perhaps even take in a show, like the famous Moulin Rouge. (Overnight in Paris).

DAY 2 - PARIS
Spend a full day exploring Paris at leisure today. The city boasts a whole host of masterpieces, from the Mona Lisa nestled inside the Louvre to the imposing Eiffel Tower, that dominates the city's skyline. Stroll down the UNESCO-listed banks of the Seine observing the landmarks that embroider its edges, or shop until you drop down the Champs-Elysees. (Overnight in Paris) B

DAY 3 - PARIS TO GENEVA
Check out of your hotel after breakfast and take to the rails through the rolling French countryside to Geneva. On arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and set out to explore. Make the most of your time in Geneva - spend the evening enjoying a tasty meal at a local lakeside restaurant, or take a relaxing boat trip out on the lake and admire the city's cosmopolitan feel and the stunning backdrop of the Alps and the Jura mountains. DAY 4 - GENEVA TO VENICE
After breakfast, depart Geneva in the morning and travel to Venice on one of the most scenic routes in Europe, the Simplon Pass. Relax while the train follows the shores of Lake Leman and across Swiss vineyards, with stunning views of the Alps in the background. Travel further south after crossing the border into Italy before arriving in Venice. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a three-night stay. Stretched across 117 islands within the Venetian Lagoon, there is no doubt Venice is a unique city. Famed for its canals, its history and its ethereal beauty, the city continues to enchant visitors from all over the world, as it has done for centuries. (Overnight in Venice) B

DAY 5 - VENICE
Spend two full days exploring the sights of the lagoon-side sanctuary of Venice. Famous attractions not to be missed include St. Mark's Square with its sumptuous Basilica and imposing Campanile which you can climb for great city views. Also worth visiting is the nearby Doge's Palace, where it's a good idea to take a tour so that you can fully appreciate the history of this stunning building. (Overnight in Venice) B

DAY 6 - VENICE
Make sure you spend some time out on the water. Venice Lido has some great sandy beaches and the islands of Murano and Burano are beautifully maintained fishing villages where you can watch the famous Venetian glassblowers in action. DAY 7 - DEPART VENICE
After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and continue with your travels. If you wish to extend your vacation, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail Specialists will be happy to assist you with the details. B
