Official Rules:
ELIGIBILITY
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. This Giveaway is hosted by Railbookers (“Sponsors”) and is governed by the following Terms and Conditions. The Railbookers’ The Best of Switzerland Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. It is void where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Railbookers Group, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and promotional agencies are not eligible to participate.
CONTEST PERIOD & HOW TO ENTER
The Giveaway begins on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 9 a.m. EDT and ends on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Entries submitted outside of this time frame will not be accepted. To enter, participants must visit the Giveaway page on Amtrak Vacations and Railbookers’ website and complete the entry form, including their full name, email address, country they reside in, social media handle, and travel agent status. Entrants must follow @amtrakvacations AND @railbookers on both Facebook and Instagram. An additional entry may be earned by sharing the contest on social media and tagging @amtrakvacations and @railbookers. Only one entry per person is allowed; multiple entries may result in disqualification. Entries that are incomplete or do not comply with the entry requirements will be disqualified.
WINNER SELECTION
One winner will receive a complimentary vacation package for two titled “The Best of Switzerland,” which is a 10-day rail journey. The prize includes rail travel and hotel accommodations for the duration of the trip. The total approximate retail value of the combined prize package is $7,000 USD. The prize is nontransferable, nonrefundable, and has no cash value. Meals, travel insurance, personal expenses, and any other costs not specifically mentioned are the sole responsibility of the winner. The trip must be booked by December 31, 2026, for travel in 2027 or 2028. Travel is subject to availability and blackout dates. Once travel is confirmed, any changes may be subject to additional fees.
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The drawing will take place on Monday, August 3, 2026. The winner will be contacted via email and social media within 72 hours of the drawing. If the selected winner does not respond within 72 hours, Railbookers Group reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
CONDITIONS
By entering the Giveaway, participants grant Railbookers the right to use their name, likeness, and any content submitted or created in connection with the prize (including photos or videos from the trip) for marketing and promotional purposes in digital, print, and social media, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants also consent to receive marketing communications from Railbookers, which they may opt out of at any time. All personal information will be handled in accordance with Railbookers’ Privacy Policy. By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Railbookers, their affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their participation or the acceptance or use of any prize. Railbookers Group is not responsible for technical issues, internet interruptions, or other circumstances that may affect entry or prize fulfillment. The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, provincial, local, or international taxes and fees associated with the receipt or use of the prize. This Giveaway and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Railbookers Group reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway at any time if fraud, technical difficulties, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the promotion. Railbookers Group also reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Terms. This promotion is hosted by Railbookers Group and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering, participants release Facebook and Instagram from any liability associated with this Giveaway. Participants acknowledge that Railbookers is solely responsible for all aspects of the Giveaway, including prize fulfillment and all related communications.
PUBLICITY AND RELEASE
As a condition of entry into the Contest, except where prohibited by law, each entrant and winner by accepting a prize grants Railbookers Group, all rights, title and interest in to publicize, broadcast, display and/or otherwise use the Contest entrant’s name, city, state, and biographical material (collectively, “Licensed Rights”) in any media for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional review, compensation, or approval of the winner. If Winner does not respond to notification, or is not present when prize delivery is attempted, such prize will be forfeited. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
