If you need further assistance while traveling, please call our emergency numbers so our staff can assist you as soon as possible. You’ll also find answers to any questions about trip interruptions in your travel documents. If you need assistance before your departure, please call the number on your invoice.
If your flight is delayed, and you have a private transfer, please call the transfer company directly at the number on the voucher to advise of your new arrival time. We have provided them with your flight details so they can track your flights; however, a phone call is the best way to ensure pick-up at your new arrival time.

If you have a mobile phone, please ensure that you have given us the number and also that you keep it charged and switched on while you are traveling. This is in case we need to get in touch with you. Without this information we are not able to contact you should there be any disruptions or an emergency.
Please do not throw away tickets whilst traveling. Sometimes, reading tickets can be complicated, and you may, for example, find that the single ticket you don't think you need anymore is actually a return ticket. Also, if there are any problems with one of your journeys, we will need the tickets returned to us in order to claim any compensation you may be eligible for.

Travel documents will be emailed to you or your travel agent 14-21 days prior to the start of your Railbookers itinerary. If you booked within 30 days of travel, please note that you will receive your documentation closer to your departure date. If you require your travel documents earlier than 14 days from departure due to a pre-trip, please give us a call in advance so that we can do our best to send them to you early. Additionally, some rail operators require paper tickets, which we will mail to you. If your itinerary does require paper tickets, we will reach out to you in advance to reconfirm your mailing address.
Please review your documents for accuracy and ensure that everything you need for hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and train journeys is included. If there are any discrepancies or you are missing a voucher, please call us as soon as possible or contact us at www.railbookers.com/contact-us.
From there, choose Travel Documents Request from the drop-down "Topic List". Enter your information and let us know of any vouchers that you are missing in the "Your Message" field. A member of our team will respond within 72 business hours.
It may seem obvious, but don't forget your passport! You will need a valid passport and a visa, where applicable, to travel on the Eurostar and for any journey within Europe and beyond. Please make sure you check the visa requirements of each country you are visiting, too.
It is a condition of booking with Railbookers that you have travel insurance for your trip. Please make sure that you are suitably covered for the entire duration of your vacation.
All guests visiting the United Kingdom will need to apply for their electronic travel authorization (ETA) in advance of their travel. Below is a list of select dates for application and enforcement of new ETA requirements:

ETAs are required for all visitors, including children of all ages, and must be requested in advance. You can apply for an ETA for others, but each individual person must have a separate application.
The application fee is per person and is non-refundable. To apply, you will need the passport you will travel with, access to your emails, and a credit/debit card or Apple/Google Pay. You will need to upload or take photos of the passport as well as the face of the person applying. Travel details are not needed.
ETAs are valid for up to 6 months and can be used on multiple trips to the UK within that period. For more information and questions about the UK ETA, please visit https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta.
You will need to present photo identification and a credit card to the front desk at the hotel upon check-in. A personal credit card may be required for incidentals. Please note that some hotels charge a nominal city tax, payable by you upon check-in.
Depending on your destination, an adapter may be required for the electrical use of outlets. We recommend bringing a universal, all-in-one travel adapter, as the outlets in the US and Canada are different from those in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
If you have arranged private transfers through Railbookers, you will need to call to reconfirm the pick-up location and time 24-48 hours in advance.
If you have arranged sightseeing tours, activities, and/or transfers through Railbookers, your travel documents may include a voucher for each service.
Unless specified on your itinerary, transportation to and from airports, train stations, and hotels is not included.
Taxis are widely available, and there is usually a taxi queue right outside the train station. Rideshare services may also be available, but that will depend on the destination. You can also ask your hotel’s front desk to arrange a taxi to pick you up from the hotel.
If your sightseeing tour does not mention hotel pickup, you will need to make your own way to the meeting points. All of our hotels are centrally located, so it should only be a short walk or taxi ride to the meeting points.
If you do have private transfers included in your itinerary, please note the instructions on the voucher and ensure your mobile phone is turned on in case the driver needs to contact you. In most cases, you will also need to call the transfer company at the phone number on your voucher to reconfirm pick-up times and locations.
If you have arranged sightseeing tours and/or activities through Railbookers, your travel documents will include details on where the tour and/or activity begins and some may have additional vouchers with a QR code needed for redemption.
Many sightseeing tours also require calling in advance to confirm the meeting location or pick-up time, as the details may change from the time of booking, or they may have different hotel stops for other travelers on the tour so they need to adjust the routing.
If you have booked a city or attractions pass, many attractions now require reservations in advance. In your voucher will be a link with instructions on how to reserve your time slots.
