Maharajas' Express

There is one Presidential Suite per train which offers the ultimate luxury experience! It contains a living room with a sofa, two bedrooms and washrooms. The Presidential Suite has its own butler who is on 24-hour call to provide a service that is both attentive and luxurious. As with the suites, travellers in the Presidential Suite can expect their own dedicated guide and luxury car for the off-train excursions.

The suites onboard the Maharajas' Express are larger still, with a cabin area of 220 square feet. In addition to the facilities of a Junior Suite, all suites have a double bed and the additional features of a complimentary mini-bar and a bathtub. Passengers in suites also benefit from the services of a private guide and luxury car during off-train excursions.

Junior Suites offer all of the features of the regular Deluxe Cabins, with additional enhancements. They are larger, with a cabin area of 150 square feet, and offer both double and twin-bedded accommodation (subject to availability). All suites have large panoramic windows to offer the perfect view of every aspect of the journey through India. The larger cabin allows for a writing table with two chairs and each coach has a mini pantry which will be used by the dedicated butler to accommodate the needs of every guest.

Deluxe Cabins are fully air-conditioned, with a private ensuite bathroom including complimentary amenities such as bathrobes, slippers, and luxury toiletries. Each cabin has a dedicated valet who will look after every need of the guest throughout the tour. Complimentary tea, coffee, and mineral water are available at all times. Cabins have an area of approximately 112 square feet and can offer double or twin-bedded accommodation (subject to availability). They contain a wardrobe, a personal safe, and a folding table.
