DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN GENEVA
Your vacation begins in Geneva, where you will check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Make the most of your time in Geneva - spend the evening enjoying a tasty meal at a local lakeside restaurant or take a relaxing boat trip out on the lake and admire the city’s cosmopolitan feel and the stunning backdrop of the Alps and the Jura mountains. (Overnight in Geneva) 

DAY 2 – GENEVA
Get acquainted with the spectacular sights of Geneva on your city tour. Cruise the city in an air-conditioned coach and listen to captivating commentary from your knowledgeable guide as you see top city attractions. Marvel at the distinctive beauty of Jet d’Eau; gaze at the shimmering surface of Lake Geneva; and disembark for a leisurely walking tour around Geneva’s charming Old Town. Climb aboard the city’s quaint mini-train to discover landmarks like St Pierre Cathedral and the Palace of Nations. (Overnight in Geneva) B

DAY 3 – GENEVA TO ROME
After breakfast, depart Geneva in the morning and travel to Rome on one of the most scenic routes in Europe, the Simplon Pass. Relax whilst the train follows the shores of Lake Leman and across Swiss vineyards, with stunning views of the Alps in the background. Travel further south after crossing the border into Italy to Milan, where you change onto a domestic service that travels down the spine of Italy to Rome. On arrival in Rome, check in your hotel for a three-night stay and set off to start exploring. Perhaps enjoy an ice-cold gelato on the Spanish steps and simply watch Roman life go by. (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 4 - ROME
Head out to explore after breakfast, don't miss the architectural masterpiece, The Pantheon, one of Rome's best-preserved buildings. Walk in the footsteps of the Romans at the Forum or follow Audrey Hepburn and dare to put your hand into the Bocca della Verità to prove that you are trustworthy! (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 5 - ROME
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then head for another day of sightseeing, starting with your Vatican museums San Peters and Sistine Chapel tour all a must see whilst in Rome (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 6 – DEPART ROME
After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and continue with your travels. If you wish to extend your vacation, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail Consultants will be happy to assist you with the details. B
