DAY 1 – LUCERNE
Travel by direct train from Zurich airport to Lucerne. Begin exploring all this stunning central Switzerland city has to offer. The medieval Chapel Bridge is a great place to start as one of the oldest, covered wooden bridges in Europe. Lucerne is also full of picturesque town squares where you can relax, indulge in some Swiss delicacies and soak in the Swiss culture. (Overnight in Lucerne)

DAY 2 – DAY TRIP TO MOUNT TITLIS
Take the train to the popular resort town of Engelberg in the Canton of Obwalden for your gondola ride to Stand, then board a rotating cable car to the top of Mount Titlis. During the five-minute trip, take in 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and snow-covered mountain peaks. There are various restaurants and more incredible views of the Alps waiting for you at the summit. Take the rotating cable car back to Stand, then gondola back to Engelberg before catching the train back to Lucerne. (Overnight in Lucerne) B

DAY 3 – MOUNT PILATUS DAY TRIP
Enjoy an exciting trip to the top of Mount Pilatus by bus, gondola, and cable car. From November 19 to May 15, this day trip begins with a short bus to Kriens, where you’ll take a panoramic gondola to Fräkmüntegg. Then, you’ll climb aboard the aerial cableway to the top of Mount Pilatus. Relax along the terrace while admiring the stunning views before returning to Lucerne the same way you came up. From May 16 to November 18, this day trip begins with a cruise on the beautiful Lake Lucerne from Lucerne to Alpnachstad before taking the world’s steepest cogwheel railway to the summit of Mount Pilatus. DAY 4 – LUCERNE TO WENGEN
Travel by scenic train from Lucerne to Wengen by way of Interlaken Ost and Lauterbrunnen. This picture-perfect resort town lies at the foot of the Jungfrau and boasts stunning mountain views, ample recreational activities year-round, and a welcoming atmosphere.(Overnight in Wengen) B

DAY 5 – JUNGFRAU DAY TRIP
A highlight of any trip to Switzerland is a visit to world-famous Jungfrau Mountain, appropriately named the ‘Top of Europe', at 11,332 ft. Witness glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife along the route, which traverses the Eiger and Mönch mountains. At the top, enjoy the incredible views, and several attractions, as well as a choice of restaurants and bars. (Overnight in Wengen) B

DAY 6 – WENGEN
The fact that you can only reach this Bernese Oberland village by train only adds to its charming appeal. Spend time exploring on your own. Maybe check out misty Staubbach Falls and snap some memorable photos. But keep in mind, the pictures you take will not do the beauty of this region justice. (Overnight in Wengen) B

DAY 7 – WENGEN TO ZERMATT
Use your Swiss Pass to take the scenic rail journey from Wengen to Zermatt via Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken Ost, Spiez, and Visp. Along the way, pass lovely valley and mountain views. Spend the rest of the day discovering the car-free alpine village located in the shadow of the Matterhorn. (Overnight in Zermatt) B

DAY 8 – GORNERGRAT DAY TRIP
Take an exciting ride on the Gornergrat cog railway, a marvel of 19th-century engineering. From the top, take in one of the most spectacular panoramas in all of Switzerland with the iconic outline of the Matterhorn as well as the surrounding peaks and glaciers all around you. Take the same route back down to Zermatt where you can enjoy the numerous cozy bars and restaurants. (Overnight in Zermatt) B

DAY 9 – ZERMATT TO ST. MORITZ
Travel directly from Zermatt to St. Moritz onboard the Glacier Express. Known as the “Slowest Express Train in the World,” the Glacier Express is an incredible bucket-list journey. This legendary, eight-hour ride slowly weaves more than 150 miles across 291 bridges and through 92 tunnels in the picturesque Swiss Alps from the foot of the Matterhorn in Zermatt to St. Moritz. DAY 10 – ST. MORITZ
You can easily explore the entire town by foot, and it doesn’t take long. Wander along traditional Engadin houses, art noveau architecture, quaint cafes, and high-end boutiques. Head over to the Lake St. Moritz lookout to watch kite surfers skim across the glistening lake (thought it’s often frozen December to May). This evening, try some fondue at a charming rustic eatery. DAY 11 – ST. MORITZ
Use your Swiss Pass to take the funicular and cable car to Piz Nair’s summit, where you can sip hot chocolate while taking in panoramic views of the Upper Engadin. Back in town, visit the Segantini museum, the Leaning Tower, or simply relax near the lake.  (Overnight in St. Moritz) B

DAY 12 – ST. MORITZ TO LUGANO
Board the iconic Bernina Express to Lugano. In summer, the route takes you to Chur and on to Tirano, then a bus transports you to Lugano. In Winter, the route takes you to Chur and on to Tirano. Then, from Tirano to Milan to Lugano. Make sure to have your camera on hand because you are guaranteed to capture some amazing shots from the comfort of the panoramic carriages of the train. DAY 13 – LUGANO
With a free day to explore on your own, why not enjoy a day trip out on the lake to Gandria then take a cable car up to Paradiso? No reservations are needed. (Overnight in Lugano) B

DAY 14 – LUGANO TO ZURICH
Travel by direct train to Zurich. Enjoy discovering the city at your leisure, perhaps ambling down the Lake Promenade and the winding streets of the Old Town, unearthing the artistic masterpieces of the Kunsthaus, watching operatic perfection at the famed Schauspielhaus, or shopping along Bahnhofstrasse, Switzerland’s answer to the Champs-Élysées. DAY 15 – YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN ZURICH
Check out of your hotel and travel from Lugano to Zurich, then onto the airport to continue with your onward travels. B
