Travel roundtrip from Vancouver through the breath-taking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies on this scenic rail journey! Explore Vancouver’s Stanley Park and take a stroll along the sea wall for amazing views looking back at Coal Harbour and the City, venture to Granville Island and the Farmers Market for some local foods. Travel on the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer as you wind through the Canadian Rockies making your way to the mountain side town of Banff. Venture through Alberta along the Icefields parkway as you make your way to Jasper. Board VIA Rail for your scenic journey back to Vancouver where you pass by Mount Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

DAY 1 VANCOUVER
Welcome to Vancouver! Travel on your own to your hotel and start exploring this beautiful city known for its harbor-side vistas and stunning mountain backdrop. (Overnight in Vancouver)

DAY 2 ROCKY MOUNTAINEER FROM VANCOUVER TO KAMLOOPS
Board the famous navy and gold carriages of the Rocky Mountaineer itself. Settle into the luxurious confines of SilverLeaf Class, or speak to one of our Rail Experts about upgrading. Relax onboard and enjoy the dramatic scenery of British Columbia and the surrounding peaks of the Cascade Mountains. Travel along the river canyons and pass by the rushing water at Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. (Overnight in Kamloops) B, L

DAY 3 ROCKY MOUNTAINEER FROM KAMLOOPS TO BANFF
Re-board the train and enjoy another day of stunning scenery as you travel into Alberta. and the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Wind through the snow-capped peaks of the Rockies and enjoy stunning views of the glaciers as you make your way to Banff. (Overnight in Banff) B, L

DAY 4 BANFF
Today you will explore the renowned mountain town of Banff and learn about the culture, geology and wildlife. With your included admission to the Banff Gondola, you'll journey to the top of Sulphur mountain for a breathtaking birds-eye view of Banff National Park and six mountain ranges. (Overnight in Banff)

DAY 5 BANFF TO JASPER
Depart Banff for a leisurely drive to Jasper along the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Visit the natural wonder of Columbia Icefield, one of the largest expanses of ice and snow south of the Arctic Circle. Step onboard the Ice Explorer and venture out to Athabasca Glacier. Enjoy unobstructed views on a glass-floored observation platform extending out over the Sunwapta Valley at the Glacier Skywalk. (Overnight in Jasper) L

DAY 6 OVERNIGHT ONBOARD VIA RAIL
Enjoy the stunning views of central British Columbia. As the train winds its way along the walls of the Fraser Canyon and through the Cascade and Coastal mountains, enjoy lunch as you look down to the Fraser River and catch a glimpse of the ragging rapids of Hell’s Gate. Prior to arriving in Vancouver, take in the agricultural heartland of the Fraser Valley as it approaches the mighty Pacific Ocean. (Overnight onboard VIA Rail)

DAY 7 VANCOUVER
When you arrive in Vancouver, drop your luggage at the hotel you can begin exploring the city! (Overnight in Vancouver).
