DAY 1 FRANKFURT
Welcome to Frankfurt! On arrival, check in at your hotel for a 2-night stay. Once settled in, perhaps take a trip to the top of Frankfurt's Main Tower where you can marvel at this city's spectacular skyline, and beyond. (Overnight Frankfurt)

DAY 2 FRANKFURT
After breakfast this morning, spend the day exploring the wonderful Altstadt district and the gorgeous Römerberg square. Take a stroll over the Eiserner Steg, an iron pedestrian bridge built in 1869 to the laid-back riverside Sachsenhausen district and visit one of the old cider houses. From here you can enjoy some of the small traditional shops and local delicacies on Schweizer Straße or one of the many fascinating museums. (Overnight Frankfurt) B

DAY 3 FRANKFURT TO MUNICH
After breakfast this morning, make your way to the station for a swift ICE train ride to Munich. On arrival, check in at your hotel for a 2-night stay. Once settled in, perhaps relax with a refreshing local beer at one of the many beer halls in the city. (Overnight Munich) B

DAY 4 MUNICH
Today, enjoy all Germany's second city has to offer. Munich is blessed with some fascinating architecture dating back to the times of the medieval Bavarian kings, and this rich history is evident all around. The Town Hall with its famous Glockenspiel which re-enacts two stories from the 16th century is a must, as is a wander through the gorgeous Englischer Garten. Enjoy the evening at the Hofbrauhaus for another night of local beer, sausages and even Lederhosen! (Overnight in Munich) B

DAY 5 YOUR VACATION ENDS IN BUDAPEST
After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and take the train to Budapest and continue with your onward travel. If you wish to extend your vacation, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail Specialists would be happy to help you with all the details. B
