DAY 1 – VENICE
As soon as you arrive in Venice, you’ll see why it's a destination that’s off the beaten cobblestone. And it’s more than just the sprawling canals that make this city so charming. Visit vibrant St. Mark’s square and soak up the lively atmosphere. Later, take a gondola ride and pass the Bridge of Sighs before finding a popular waterfront restaurant for dinner. DAY 2 – VENICE
Set out to explore the crowd-pleasing landmarks, museums, and attractions Venice is known for. Admire the stately Doge’s Palace and marvel at the gorgeous mosaics that adorn St. Mark’s Basilica. Finish your day by stopping on the islands of Murano and Burano to see the famous glassblowers and colorful houses. (Overnight Venice) B

DAY 3 – VENICE TO VERONA
Catch a Trenitalia train directly from Venice to Verona. With numerous departures, you choose when to get onboard.There’s a reason why travelers call Verona Italy’s most underrated gem. Check out Casa di Giulietta at 23 Via Cappello, the supposed home of Shakespeare’s Juliet. Right around the corner, you’ll find Piazza delle Erbe, one of Italy’s most picturesque squares. The top of Torre dei Lamberti offers incredible views of the entire city and surrounding landscape. (Overnight Verona) B

DAY 4 – VERONA
Get your retail fix—or simply browse—along Via Mazzini, which runs from the Arena to Piazza delle Erbe. Shop luxury labels, vintage finds, and good from local vendors. Visit the Arena, church of Sant’Anastasia, and the city’s oldest bridge, the Ponte di Pietra. Then, there’s the food and wine! Stroll through the city’s back streets to find a traditional osterie (Overnight Verona) B

DAY 5 – VERONA TO DESENZANO
Board a Trenitalia train to the picturesque town of Desenzano. This serene destination is located on Lake Garda’s southern shore and offers breathtaking views of the Alps. (Overnight Desenzano) B

DAY 6 – DESENZANO
Why not spend the day taking a leisurely boat ride out on the lake to soak up the scenery along the shoreline? For lunch, dine at one of the many local restaurants strewn throughout small piazzas. Then, explore the charming streets of the old town and the promenade before visiting the castle and Grotte di Catulo. (Overnight Desenzano) B

DAY 7 – YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN DESENZANO
Check out of your hotel and catch a Trenitalia train to Milan Centrale station to continue with your onward travels.B

Locanda Vivaldi

Hotel Locanda Vivaldi was inaugurated at the end of 1999, after painstaking and long restructuring works on the building adjacent to the Church of Pietà.

In 1703 Antonio Vivaldi was ordained a priest and started to work as a violin teacher in the Pietà conservatory, where he remained until 1740.
