Your first destination is Geneva, where you’ll have the opportunity to experience the city’s cosmopolitan feel. Then, take the train from Geneva to Montreux to Interlaken via the Golden Pass Line. Discover the highest railway station in Europe at the top of Jungfrau and then travel through the Swiss Alps onboard the Glacier Express to Chur. Your memorable holiday wraps up with a scenic day trip on the Bernina Express to Tirano.

DAY 1 - LONDON TO GENEVA
Board Eurostar in London today and stop in Paris before changing trains en route to Geneva. When you arrive, check into your hotel for a one-night stay. Spend the rest of your time in the city exploring the sights, including the world's highest fountain, the Jet d'Eau. In the evening, enjoy a meal at a local lakeside restaurant, or take a relaxing boat trip out on the lake and admire the city's cosmopolitan feel and the stunning backdrop of the Alps and the Jura mountains. (Overnight in Geneva)  

DAY 2 - GENEVA TO MONTREUX TO INTERLAKEN
After breakfast this morning, take the train from Geneva to Montreux and then travel on the famous Golden Pass Line to Interlaken for a two-night stay. As the journey begins, the route rises above Lake Geneva, offering amazing views of the Swiss Rivera. Located between glacier-fed Lake Thun and Brienz and surrounded by breath-taking mountains, Interlaken is a place travellers fall in love with. (Overnight in Interlaken) B

DAY 3 - JUNGFRAU EXCURSION
After breakfast, you will climb to Europe's highest altitude railway station on Jungfrau Mountain, at a colossal 11,332 feet high. The journey takes you to Kleine Scheidegg, before reaching the station at Eigergletscher, which is well known for its mountain restaurant and Huskies. At Jungfraujoch, take in the spectacular views of the Black Forest in Germany and the Vosges Mountains in France. After a spectacular day sightseeing, return to the hotel for the second night of your stay in Interlaken. (Overnight in Interlaken) B

DAY 4 - GLACIER EXPRESS TO CHUR
Depart Interlaken today and travel to Brig by train, over the incredible Lötschberg Mountain, where you will meet the Glacier Express. Once on board the train, follow the tracks through the majestic Swiss Alps on the journey from Brig to Chur. The train gently glides along the rails through peaceful Alpine meadows, deep valleys and lush forests to Chur. On arrival, make your way to your hotel and check in for a two-night stay. (Overnight in Chur) B

DAY 5 - BERNINA EXPRESS
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then take the Bernina Express for the final leg of the trip to Tirano via St. Moritz. Be dazzled at the incredible views of imposing glaciers, sheer rock gorges and far-reaching viaducts through the panoramic carriages of the train. Watch out for the magnificent Landwasser Viaduct just before the village of Filisur. A stop will be made in Tirano for lunch and then you will be transported back to Chur for the last night of your stay. (Overnight in Chur) B

DAY 6 - DEPART CHUR TO ZURICH AIRPORT
After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and continue to Zurich Airport. If you wish to extend your holiday, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail holiday Specialists will be happy to assist you with the details. B

ABC Hotel Chur

The ABC Chur is a modern boutique hotel with 40 comfortable and contemporary bedrooms. There is a cosy lobby bar where you can enjoy a night-cap in the evening, as well as a spa-lounge with a fitness centre, sauna and steam bath. The hotel is close to the main railway station, in the centre of Chur.

Romantik Hotel Stern Chur

The Romantik Hotel Stern is a historic hotel with 64 comfortable and modern bedrooms. The hotel has a traditional Swiss restaurant called the Buendner Stube which offers a menu of seasonal dishes from locally sourced produce. The hotel is situated in the centre of Chur, close to the Old Town.

Hotel Cornavin Geneva

The superior Cornavin Hotel in Saint-Gervais / des Grottes district offers cozy rooms with views over Lake Geneva. Built in 1932, the hotel is a combination of traditional architecture and contemporary facilities. The hotel is nestled in the heart of Geneva, steps away from Gare de Cornavin train station. The property is set within 2 km distance from the city center.

Hôtel Cristal Geneva

Hotel Cristal welcomes guests in the heart of Geneva meters away from a cathedral and a museum.
