Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 – BARCELONA
Welcome to Barcelona! On arrival check-in at your hotel for a two-night stay, then head out to enjoy the city.  (Overnight Barcelona)

DAY 2 – BARCELONA
Beat the crowds this morning on your small group tour of Barcelona and the beautiful buildings designed by Antonio Gaudi including the Sagrada Familia.  In the afternoon take a stroll down the Ramblas or enjoy some delicious tapas in the evocative Gothic Quarter.  (Overnight Barcelona) B

DAY 3 – MADRID
Ride the fastest train on the Iberian Peninsula today between Barcelona and Madrid.  On arrival into Atocha station make your way to your hotel for a two-night stay.  (Overnight Madrid) B

DAY 4 – MADRID
Get your bearings of this great city this morning on a three-hour tour, then do your own thing with a Madrid sightseeing pass which gives you a huge choice of museums and sights to enter.  Pop your head into the world-famous Prado museum perhaps or discover more about the world of the Matador and Plaza de Toros de las Ventas. DAY 5 – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Depart Madrid Chamartín station today onboard the train to Santiago de Compostela, where you stay for the next two nights.  In the evening enjoy some of the delicious seafood that in synonymous with the Galician region.  (Overnight Santiago de Compsotela) B

DAY 6 - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before discovering the vast history of this beautiful city on a private walking tour.  You’ll learn how the city grew around the great Cathedral, which is the reputed burial site of St James, and so has been destination for Pilgrims from around the world for hundreds of years.  (Overnight Santiago de Compostela) B

DAY 7 – MADRID
Head back to Madrid today for your final night and enjoy your final evening with some delicious tapas in one of the many bars around the picturesque Plaza Mayor. (Overnight Madrid) B

DAY 8 – END OF TOUR
