DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN ROME
Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for a three-night stay. Come the evening, be sure to visit the Trevi Fountain and throw in a coin or two. The architecture is quite spectacular when lit up at night. (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 2 - ROME
Today after breakfast, explore the heritage of ancient Rome with a fascinating Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. After the tour, take some time to explore more of this iconic city. (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 3 – ROME
Your Imperial Rome tour will take you to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Don't forget to have your photo taken with one of the slightly more modern gladiators outside! (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 4 – ROME TO FLORENCE
Travel by train directly to Florence. Take a stroll across the Ponte Vecchio (the oldest and most famous bridge over the Arno River) and check out Piazzale Michelangelo for stunning views of the city. DAY 5 – FLORENCE

DAY 6 – FLORENCE

DAY 7 – FLORENCE

DAY 8 – FLORENCE TO SORRENTO
Travel through the Italian countryside from Florence to Naples weaving through the Tuscan countryside, through the Eternal City of Rome and onwards to the capital of Campania, Naples. From Napoli Centrale train station, take the Circumvesuviana train (payable locally) from Naples to Sorrento. (Overnight in Sorrento) B

DAY 9 – AMALFI COAST DAY TRIP
Experience the unforgettable beauty of the Amalfi Coast on your tour today with an expert guide. You’ll enjoy over 40 miles of unparalleled views of the Mediterranean coastline as well as all the small towns and villages of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. DAY 10 – SORRENTO
After breakfast, why not take a ferry to the islands in the Bay of Naples. Visit Ischia for its volcanic thermal spas, golden beaches and great food. You can also reach the smaller but more well-known island of Capri. Climb up from the harbor to the old town on a funicular railway or take a boat out to see the famous Blue Grotto. DAY 11 – SORRENTO
Enjoy your last full day in Sorrento. Maybe enjoy a refreshing drink on the beachfront and watch the world go by. Or stroll along to the Piazza Tasso for lunch in a quiet café and wonderful views over the water. Don't miss a visit to the Chiesa di San Francesco, a beautiful 14th-century church. DAY 12 – SORRENTO TO ROME
Travel by train from Sorrento to Naples, then change trains to Rome. Spend the remainder of your free time taking it easy at your hotel or checking off any last-minute sightseeing. (Overnight in Rome) B
