Start in the capital of Manitoba - Winnipeg - where you'll spend a night discovering this diverse city before boarding the train to Jasper. Experience miles of beautiful prairie views, taking in the wide variety of grasses, flowers and wildlife along the way. Discover the fresh air and stunning mountain views in Jasper National Park, and from there, take in the picturesque scenery of one of Canada’s national treasures, the Icefields Parkway in Banff. Cap off your journey with an unforgettable ride on the Banff Gondola in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

DAY 1 - YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN WINNIPEG
Welcome to Winnipeg and the start of your Canadian rail journey! Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and acquaint yourself with this diverse city. Perhaps head to The Forks, a historic site in Downtown Winnipeg filled with restaurants, shopping and interesting open spaces. (Overnight in Winnipeg)

DAY 2 - OVERNIGHT ONBOARD VIA RAIL
Travel on your own to the VIA Rail station and board your train for an incredibly scenic journey to Jasper. Sit back and relax as you traverse beautiful prairie country, and be on the lookout for antelope, deer, coyote and numerous bird species. As the sun sets, enjoy a chef-prepared dinner before retiring to your room for a good night's sleep. (Overnight on VIA Rail)

DAY 3 - JASPER
Open your bedroom blinds to find the towering Rocky Mountains outside your window. Take in Mt. Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies and Moose Lake, one of its deepest, before a morning arrival into Jasper. When you arrive in Jasper, travel on your own to your hotel. (Overnight in Jasper)

DAY 4 - JASPER
Today, explore Jasper National Park and indulge in its natural mountainous beauty, soak in the attractions of the Maligne Canyon, and solve the mystery of the disappearing lake all during your tour of Jasper and on your cruise across the crystal-clear blue waters of Maligne Lake. (Overnight in Jasper)

DAY 5 - JASPER TO BANFF
Today, enjoy a sightseeing adventure along the Icefields Parkways through the Canadian Rockies as you head to Banff. Stop at the Columbia Icefield and board an Ice Explorer to experience the Athabasca Glacier. You'll also visit the Glacier Skywalk, with a glass-floored observation platform jutting out over the Sunwapta Valley. Bring your camera because you'll have some amazing views of the valley, glaciers, lakes and mountains! (Overnight in Banff)

DAY 6 - BANFF
Enjoy some of the best sights of the Canadian Rockies on your guided tour today. Learn about the unique culture, geology and wildlife of the region while exploring the spectacular sights of the renowned mountain town of Banff. Then soar up the Banff Gondola to the peak of Sulphur Mountain for a 360 degree view of six mountain ranges and the Bow Valley. (Overnight in Banff)

DAY 7 - YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN CALGARY
Transfer to Calgary airport and return home.
