DAY 1 YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN CHICAGO
Welcome to Chicago! Breeze into the Windy City and travel on your own to the Amtrak® station to board the Southwest Chief® headed west to Flagstaff. This majestic train ride takes you through curving canyon passages only a few feet wider than the train itself, allowing you to see spectacular landscapes and pristine vistas not visible from any highway. Just sit back and enjoy the scenery as you make your way to Arizona! (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 2 FLAGSTAFF
You'll arrive in Flagstaff this evening. This gorgeous city is filled with astounding natural wonders, invigorating outdoor recreation and fascinating cultural attractions. Check into your hotel and relax for the night. Tomorrow you will get to see all the natural gems this area has to offer. (Overnight in Flagstaff)

DAY 3 FLAGSTAFF TO WILLIAMS
Get up close and personal with the Red Rocks of Sedona with your included Ultimate Jeep Tour. This excursion combines the rugged and historic exclusive Soldiers Pass Trail Tour with the Old Bear Wallow Tour, giving you spectacular views of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon from high up Bear Wallow Canyon. After your tour, you will have the rest of the day to explore the exhilarating city of Flagstaff. Tonight, you will travel on your own to the Amtrak station and board the train to Williams. Upon your arrival in Williams, you will be transferred to the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. Enjoy a good night's sleep before tomorrow's Grand Canyon adventure! (Overnight in Williams)

DAY 4 WILLIAMS TO GRAND CANYON
This morning you will enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Grand Depot Café, the perfect starting place for your Grand Canyon adventure! Then, you will hop aboard the Grand Canyon Railway, which will take you right into the heart of Grand Canyon National Park. Enjoy a motorcoach tour of the Canyon's majestic South Rim. Take in some of the most spectacular natural landscapes in North America, formed over millions of years. (Overnight in the Grand Canyon) B

DAY 5 GRAND CANYON TO WILLIAMS TO LOS ANGELES
This morning, spend some time enjoying the fresh canyon air while you leisurely explore all the Grand Canyon's astounding sights. This afternoon, board the Grand Canyon Railway for your return trip back to Williams. Then, this evening, you will be treated to an included dinner at the Grand Depot Café. After dinner, head to the Amtrak station and board the train to Los Angeles. (Overnight onboard Amtrak) D

DAY 6 LOS ANGELES
You will arrive in Los Angles this morning, a city renowned for its diverse culture and free spirit. Grab your camera and get ready to tour the “City of Angels.” On your hop-on, hop-off tour today, you will get to see iconic landmarks like the Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive, the Walk of Fame, Paramount Studios and many great LA hot spots. Be sure to keep your eyes open because you very well may spot a celebrity or two! (Overnight in Los Angeles)

El Tovar

El Tovar Hotel, the premier lodging facility at the Grand Canyon, opened its doors in 1905 and was most recently renovated in 2005. In the past, the Hotel has hosted such luminaries as Theodore Roosevelt, Albert Einstein, Western author Zane Grey, and many others. Today, El Tovar retains its elegant charm. Located on the Canyon rim, it features a fine dining room (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), lounge and curio shop with newsstand.

Grand Canyon Railway

Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is nestled amongst the Ponderosa pine forest in Williams, Arizona - "Gateway to the Grand Canyon." Owned and operated by Grand Canyon Railway, this hotel is one of the finest in the Grand Canyon -Flagstaff - Williams area.

Kachina Lodge

Located directly on the rim of the Grand Canyon, the Kachina Lodge is a great hotel for all guests visiting the South Rim.

Maswik Lodge

Maswik Lodge is a modern facility spread over several acres of ponderosa pine forest, located just 1/4 mile from the Canyon's edge. Maswik Lodge features a cafeteria that is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Here you will also find a sports bar with a wide screen TV, a curio shop stocked with handicrafts and gifts, and a transportation/activities desk.

Thunderbird Lodge

Conveniently located between El Tovar and Bright Angel Lodge, Thunderbird is a contemporary lodge located at the South Rim.

Yavapai Lodge

Yavapai Lodge is Grand Canyon National Park Lodges' largest facility and is surrounded by pinyon and juniper woodlands, about 1/2 mile from the rim. With modern rooms and many services within a few steps, this is a convenient choice for families. Yavapai East rooms feature in-room air conditioning and Yavapai West rooms have vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans. The Lodge is located next to the Market Plaza, which includes a general store, bank, and U.S. Post Office.
