DAY 1 – PARIS
There are an abundance of exciting visitor attractions to explore in the exuberant French capital city. Maybe spend the afternoon strolling the banks of the River Seine, which are a UNESCO-listed gem and a fantastic gateway to the architecture of the city. For dinner, treat yourself to a delicious portion of Steak Frites at a typical Parisian bistro before retiring to your hotel for a good night's rest. (Overnight in Paris)

DAY 2 – PARIS
Use your Paris Pass for free entry to more than 60 city attractions and tours, as well as a hop-on, hop-off bus tour. Discover the enchanting Montmartre area and marvel at the incredible Basilique du Sacre Coeur Cathedral. Don't leave Paris without sampling some delicious Macarons or various local cheese and wine. Of course, no visit to Paris is complete without taking a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower or taking in a show such as the world-famous Moulin Rouge. (Overnight in Paris) B

DAY 3 – PARIS TO NICE
Board a train to Nice, which offers beautiful beaches, luxurious seaside dining, and plenty of opportunity for shopping and sightseeing. Enjoy visiting the Chagall and Matisse galleries to discover the colorful works of these two famous French artists. Wander through Vieux Nice to discover traditional French architecture and the daily markets selling flowers, gifts and fresh Niçoise delicacies. (Overnight in Nice) B

DAY 4 – NICE
Use your included hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour to explore the best attractions and landmarks the city has to offer at your own pace. Highlights include Promenade de Anglais, the ruins at Castle Hill, and much more. (Overnight in Nice) B

DAY 5 – NICE TO AIX EN PROVENCE
Travel to Aix en Provence, a city which is surrounded by picturesque countryside and famous for its fantastically preserved architecture, Aix-en-Provence has an abundance of sightseeing opportunities. Take a walk through the Cours Mirabeau and visit the 17th and 18th century mansions, decorated with ancient fountains and beautiful flowers. (Overnight in Aix en Provence) B

DAY 6 – AIX EN PROVENCE
If travelling during July and August, you’ll enjoy a tour of the nearby lavender fields which make this area so famous.  The incredible stretches of lavender provide a riot of colour and scent which is an experience to behold.  A visit to a local farmers’ shop also provides the opportunity to take a little bit of this very special product home with you.  Outside of this time, enjoy another day exploring Aix and perhaps speak to your sales consultant about a tour of the local hilltop villages of Luberon. DAY 7 – AIX EN PROVENCE TO AVIGNON
Board a TGV train from Aix-en-Provence to Avignon. Passing olive and lemon groves on your way and enjoying a taste of the Côtes du Rhône landscape before arriving. Enjoy discovering the fascinating and atmospheric city of Avignon. The city, established behind medieval walls at the side of the sparkling Rhone River, boasts immense natural beauty and fascinating UNESCO World Heritage listed monuments. (Overnight in Avignon) B

DAY 8 – AVIGNON

Make use of the combined tickets included for the 14th century Papel home ‘Palais des Papes’ and the ancient Pont d’Avignon, then wander the lovely streets of the old center which are full of artists' galleries.  Visit the colorful outdoor market on the Place Pie,or come during July when the city hums with thousands of visitors to its annual theatre festival. Explore the nearby Petit Palais and Palais du Roure museums, and experience the city's thriving street scene. Spend time wandering through the ancient alleys and courtyards of private mansions before relaxing with a glass of local wine in one of the fantastic restaurants Avignon has to offer. DAY 9 – YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN PARIS

Check out of your hotel and travel back to Paris to continue with your onward travels. B
