DAY 1 -  ARRIVE IN PARIS
Welcome to Paris! On arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and begin discovering the magic of the ‘City of Light,' which is every bit as romantic, elegant and sophisticated as you might think. Perhaps spend the afternoon shopping on the Champs Élysées, well-known for its designer shopping, or visit the Basilique du Sacré Coeur, renowned for its beautiful architecture. Alternatively, spend a cultured couple of hours sauntering around the stunning Louvre Museum or take a walk through Luxembourg Gardens for a true taste of Paris' great outdoors. While in Paris, you can't beat a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower, or a cruise along the Seine River to experience the delightful landmarks of the city from a different vantage point. DAY 2 -  FRANKFURT TO CHUR
After breakfast this morning, take the high-speed direct train from Paris to Zurich, and on to Chur, where on arrival, you will check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. The oldest city in Switzerland, Chur is situated in a deep valley formed by the Rhine, and has a rich and powerful history. Enjoy wandering around the Old Town or visit the lovely Cathedral of the Assumption, and enjoy the interesting galleries and authentic Swiss eateries that dot the city. (Overnight in Chur) B

DAY 3 – BERNINA EXPRESS TO TIRANO
After an early breakfast, depart from Chur on the Bernina Express to Tirano via St Moritz. The train crosses the Alps and offers breathtaking views from the panoramic carriages. Ride over spectacular viaducts, through sheer rock gorges and switch-back tunnels, alongside mountain streams and glaciers. Be sure not to miss the impressive Landwasser Viaduct, which will appear on your right just before St Moritz. The train climbs up the 7,400 feet high Bernina Pass and the entire trip is narrated. Food is available to buy on the train. This entire area is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy lunch in Tirano at the end of the line, or stop a little earlier in Poschiavo which has a lovely choice of cafés and restaurants before returning for your second night in Chur. DAY 4 – CHUR TO ZURICH
Leave Chur in the morning and travel by train to picturesque Zurich. On arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and spend the afternoon exploring this cosmopolitan, elegant city. Situated on the banks of the River Limmat, Zurich is home to an impressive number of art galleries and museums, including the Swiss National Museum and the Kunsthaus. Spend the evening by the lake in the old town district of Niederdorf, famous for its bars, restaurants, lounges and fashion shops. (Overnight in Zurich) B

DAY 5 – DEPART ZURICH

ABC Hotel Chur

The ABC Chur is a modern boutique hotel with 40 comfortable and contemporary bedrooms. There is a cosy lobby bar where you can enjoy a night-cap in the evening, as well as a spa-lounge with a fitness centre, sauna and steam bath. The hotel is close to the main railway station, in the centre of Chur.

Romantik Hotel Stern Chur

The Romantik Hotel Stern is a historic hotel with 64 comfortable and modern bedrooms. The hotel has a traditional Swiss restaurant called the Buendner Stube which offers a menu of seasonal dishes from locally sourced produce. The hotel is situated in the centre of Chur, close to the Old Town.

Swiss Night Am Kunsthaus Zurich

The Swiss Night am Kunsthaus is located within a quiet residential district and is close to the Kunthaus Museum and the Opera of Zurich. Lake Zurich is just a short walk away and all 46 bedroms are light, airy and spacious. The hotel also benefits from a fitness centre.
