Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN BRUSSELS
Welcome to Brussels! Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel and check in for a three-night stay. Once settled into the hotel, why not spend some time exploring the cobbled streets and vibrant cafes of the Marolles districts and treat yourself at the patisseries of the Petit Sablon area. (Overnight in Brussels)

DAY 2 - BRUSSELS
Enjoy breakfast this morning before exploring the whole city thanks to your included Hop-On-Hop-Off Pass and then perhaps head out to do some shopping along the world's first shopping arcade, the Galeries Saint Hubert or Maybe discover the history of Belgian royalty at the Palais du Roi. (Overnight in Brussels) B

DAY 3 – BRUSSELS
Spend the day making the most of the city with your Hop-On-Hop-Off Pass.  Discover beautiful Art Nouveau buildings designed by local architect Victor Horta, shop along the exclusive Avenue Louise, or visit one of the city's wealth of museums such as the Comic Strip Museum and the Magritte Museum. Come the evening, a visit to the stunning medieval Grand Place is a must. Once you are there, you'll find it hard to resist the plethora of traditional bars and authentic restaurants around the square, all vying for your attention. Be sure to tuck into a traditional portion of moules-frites accompanied by a good Belgian beer! (Overnight in Brussels). B

DAY 4 - BRUSSELS TO COLOGNE
After breakfast, spend the morning in Brussels before travelling by train to Cologne. On arrival, check in at your hotel for a three-night stay. Settle into your hotel and then head out for your first evening in this historic Rhineland city. Cologne is a cosmopolitan city, with a skyline dominated by the twin spires of its famous Gothic Dom Cathedral. You can climb up inside one of the spires if you wish to take in spectacular evening views of the city. (Overnight in Cologne) B

DAY 5 - COLOGNE
After breakfast at your hotel this morning, spend a full day exploring Cologne with your Hop-On-Hop-Off Pass, and take advantage of the city's river side position by taking a scenic cruise down the sparkling Rhine. (Overnight in Cologne) B

DAY 6 – COLOGNE
Enjoy another full day in Cologne at your leisure. Chocoholics will want to spend some time at the famous Chocolate Museum on the Rheinau Peninsula, complete with a chocolate fountain and tasting opportunities. In the evening, don't miss out on a trip to a traditional Kölsches restaurant or a visit to one of the many Brauhäuser (pubs/breweries) that surround the cathedral. (Overnight in Cologne) B

DAY 7 – DEPART COLOGNE
After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and continue with your travels. If you wish to extend your vacation, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail Specialists will be happy to assist you with the details. B

Floris Arlequin Grand Place Brussels

Situated just 200 yards from the magnificent Grand Place, the Floris Hotel Arlequin is the perfect base for sightseeing in Brussels.
