Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN BERLIN
Welcome to Berlin! Check in at your hotel for a two-night stay before setting out to explore the German capital city. Stroll around the city center to get your bearings, unearthing myriad landmarks along the way. A walk through Berlin feels like exploring a history text book! (Overnight in Berlin)

DAY 2 - BERLIN
The day is yours to explore Berlin! The German capital city has a rich history, so be sure to visit iconic landmarks such as Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate and the fragments of the Berlin Wall at the East Side Gallery. Culture vultures should also not miss a trip to Museum Island, which boasts some of Europe's finest galleries and exhibitions. (Overnight in Berlin) B

DAY 3 - BERLIN TO KRAKOW
Check out of your hotel after breakfast and make your way to Berlin's modern main station. From here, catch the train to Krakow, one of Poland's most fascinating and historic hubs. Change trains once in Warsaw, and enjoy the scenery en route. On arrival in Krakow, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay and begin exploring. The medieval center boasts an array of traditional restaurants, and from here you will also be able to marvel at the remnants of the city's old walls. (Overnight in Krakow) B

DAY 4 - KRAKOW
Spend the day gaining fascinating insights into the city’s past. Included today is a half-day trip from Krakow to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, where you will be taken on a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed former Nazi concentration camp complex, learning more about this dark time in history. Back in Krakow, perhaps explore the 13th-century Main Square, and discover the impressive complex of Wawel Castle, the intricate landmark, St. Mary's Basilica, or the underground chapels, chambers and lakes of Wieliczka Salt Mine. Those interested in modern history might also like to visit Schindler's Factory, or the Galicia Jewish Museum, both of which provide interesting insights into the city's more recent past. DAY 5 - DEPART KRAKOW

IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof

Right on the doorstep to the main train station, the IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof is just a few short steps away from the city and everything it has to offer in terms of shopping and entertainment. Berlin's hotspots are easy to reach on foot: Federal Chancellery (approx. 6 minutes), Brandenburg Gate (approx. 20 minutes), Potsdamer Platz (approx. 30 minutes).

InterCityHotel Berlin Ostbahnhof

The IntercityHotel Ostbahnhof is conveniently located in Berlin next to the Ostbahnhof train station. The Spree River is within easy walking distance (approx. 5 min), and the Mercedes-Benz Arena is only about 9 minutes away. Using public transport, the Brandenburger Gate and Berlin Mitte can be easily reached in approx. 15 minutes.
