Experience the joys of the Swiss Alps on this great three-night trip by train from Basel. Leave the historic city of Basel by train and spend two-nights in the beautiful alpine resort of St Moritz. From here ride onboard one of the worlds greatest train journeys, the Bernina Express south into Italy and the final destination of Milan.

DAY 1 - BASEL TO ST MORITZ

Make your way to the station and take the train across Switzerland to the beautiful canton of Graubünden. On arrival in St Moritz check-in at your hotel for a 2-night stay, then perhaps enjoy an evening of fondue! (Overnight St Moritz)

DAY 2 - ST MORITZ

Take advantage of the Engadin card from your hotel today with a ride on the local funicular and cable-car to Piz Nair (May-Oct only). This mountain peak rewards all visitors with some spectacular views of Graubünden and beyond. If you would rather simply relax and enjoy the town, take a stroll around the gorgeous lake then in the evening dining in one of the many restaurants. (Overnight in St. Moritz)B

DAY 3 - THE BERNINA EXPRESS

Climb aboard the famous Bernina Express train from St. Moritz through over some amazing feats of engineering and breathtaking mountain passes to Tirano. From here catch a local train to Milan and spend the afternoon exploring the city with your hop-on hop-off pass. (Overnight Milan) B

 

DAY 4 - END OF TOUR

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading to the airport for your flight home or speak to any of our Travel Consultants about extending your travels elsewhere. B

Hauser Swiss Quality Hotel St.Moritz

The Hauser Hotel in St Moritz is a family-run hotel with 52 bedrooms. The hotel has a restaurant and terrace bar, and is famous for its "Engadine Nusstorte" (nut and caramel pie) which is available from the hotel confectionary and chocolate shop. The hotel is located in the centre of St Moritz.

Art Boutique Monopol St Moritz

The Monopol Art Boutique is a traditional hotel located in the centre of St Moritz, just 300 metres from the funicular to the Corviglia Mountain. The 73 rooms feature flat-screen televisions, Wi-Fi internet access and bathrobes.
