Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 – BARCELONA
Welcome to Barcelona! On arrival make your way to your hotel for a three-night stay. (Overnight Barcelona)

DAY 2 - BARCELONA
Today enjoy a 5hr tour of the unique sights in this great city, including Sagrada Familia, Poble Espanyol and Montjuic Hill.  In the evening perhaps stroll down the Ramblas and enjoy some fresh seafood in the evocative Gothic Quarter.  (Overnight Barcelona) B

DAY 3 – BARCELONA
Perhaps explore the beautiful Park Güell today, or head down to the sea front to enjoy some Mediterranean Sea air.  Speak to one of our Sales Consultants about an outing to the ancient mountain Monastery of Monserrat from some rich history spectacular views.  (Overnight Barcelona) B

DAY 4 - ZARAGOZA
After breakfast hop onboard the highspeed AVE train to Zaragoza - the ancient capital of Aragon, and on arrival head to your hotel for a two-night stay.  (Overnight Barcelona) B

DAY 5 – ZARAGOZA
Enjoy a day of sightseeing independently today, and be sure to make time for the Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar which is reputed to be the first consecrated church in Spain, first consecrated in 1st or 2nd century AD.  Also be sure to visit the impressive Aljaferia Palace, built by the city’s Islamic rulers in the 11th century.  (Overnight Zaragoza) B

DAY 6 – MADRID
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before speeding onto Madrid.  Check out the beautiful tropical garden inside Atocha station before heading to your hotel for a two-night stay.  Head out and start enjoying your included sightseeing pass to skip the line and marvel at one of the worlds greatest collections of art in the Prado museum.  You could even use it this evening for a Flamenco show at Torres Bermejas.  (Overnight Madrid) B

DAY 7 – MADRID
Take your pick of several activities today, such as a 90min sightseeing bus tour, entrance to the bullring and fascinating museum or a visit and guided tour of the Royal Palace.  Make sure to toast the final night of your vacation with a glass of wine and some delicious tapas in one of the many bars around the iconic Puerta del Sol.  (Overnight Madrid) B

DAY 8 – END OF TOUR
Make your way to the airport for your flight home.  If you wish to extend your holiday, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail Experts will be happy to assist you with the details. B

The NH Sants Barcelona hotel, formerly known as NH Numancia, is located in the heart of Barcelona’s financial district, just a few steps from the trade fair and the Sants train station. You can get to the city center in 15 minutes on the metro and Camp Nou, the home ground of Barcelona’s soccer team, is only 20 minutes away on foot.

Hospes Puerta De Alcala Madrid

The Hospes Madrid is a boutique luxury hotel located within a 19th century residence. Comprising 41 stylishly appointed guest rooms with Egyptian cotton sheets, and a choice of pillows from the pillow menu. The hotel also features a gourmet restaurant, spa and pool-jacuzzi.
