DAY 1  AMSTERDAM

Welcome to Amsterdam!On arrival head to your hotel for a 2-night stay then head out to enjoy the city thanks to your included Hop-on Hop-Off pass and boat tour. You will get a great view of the beautiful 17th Century merchant houses which line the pretty canals. (Overnight Amsterdam)

DAY 2 AMSTERDAM

Carry on exploring this great city today. Visit the world-famous Rijksmuseum or the impressive Van Gough museum, take a stroll around the vast Vondel park or speak to our Travel Consultants about any private tours or special experiences you might be interested in. (Overnight Amsterdam) B

DAY 3 VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS FROM AMSTERDAM

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before making your way to the station for a very special departure. Once onboard the train settle into your comfortable cabin and enjoy the view as the train meanders south en-route to Venice. Each carriage of the train really is a piece of art with the craftmanship and attention to detail really something to behold.Feast on a 3-course lunch and later an exquisite 4-course dinner before enjoying a nightcap in the bar car perhaps, then retire to your cabin. B/L/D

DAY 4 VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS TO VENICE

Wake up and enjoy a continental breakfast as the train rolls through Austria. Enjoy life onboard before another 3-course lunch and the beautiful views of the Brenner Pass into Italy, then as evening draws in the train crosses the bridge into the islands of Venice. You will be taken to your hotel via a shared boat transfer along the Grand Canal, and following dinner settle into your hotel for a 3-night stay. (Overnight Venice) B/L

DAY 5 VENICE

This morning embarks on a day of serious sightseeing with a small group tour of the unmissable Doges Palace and ancient treasures of the Golden Basilica. Later head off the beaten track with a small group walking tour led by a true Venetian who can tell you the great stories and history of some of the city’s beautiful buildings. If you would rather a private tour, please do speak to any of our knowledgeable Travel Consultants who will be able to help. (Overnight Venice) B

DAY 6VENICE

Enjoy a relaxing day at your own pace today. Rub shoulders with the locals at the atmospheric Rialto market perhaps, or take a boat ride out to the famous Lido for some fresh sea air. Let us know if you would like to visit the pretty islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello and we would be happy to arrange. (Overnight Venice) B

DAY 7 – END OF TOUR

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport by private boat in time for your flight home or to continue your travels elsewhere.B

Bauer Palazzo Hotel Venice

Ai Mori D Oriente

The Ai Mori d'Oriente Hotel is a historic hotel set in a palace which was once home to Turkish merchants, known as the 'Mori'.
