DAY 1 - ARRIVE IN AMSTERDAM
Welcome to Amsterdam! Upon arrival, make your way to and check in to your hotel for a three night stay. Amsterdam is the vibrant capital of the Netherlands, built on the River Amstel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city, starting with a scenic boat tour along some of the many canals that criss-cross the city. The city boasts impressive architecture and over 1,500 decorative bridges - quite an impressive sight as you glide along the water. (Overnight in Amsterdam)

DAY 2 - AMSTERDAM
After breakfast this morning, perhaps explore one of the city's world famous museums, including Rijksmuseum, featuring the Dutch masters, the Van Gogh Museum, which houses the largest collection of Van Gogh paintings and drawings in the world, and Ann Frank House, a moving exhibition on the life of Anne Frank. In the evening, enjoy a meal and a drink at one of the many excellent restaurants and bars that line the main canals. (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 3 - AMSTERDAM
After breakfast in your hotel this morning, perhaps visit Amsterdam's famed floating flower market, or take a relaxing walk in verdant Vondelpark. Enjoy classic views of the city's beautiful humpback bridges from a café table in Leidseplien. In the evening, enjoy the lively atmosphere and people watching around town. (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 4 - AMSTERDAM TO THE HAGUE
After breakfast, depart Amsterdam and take a local train service to The Hague. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for a three night stay. The Hague is the Netherlands' third largest city and home to the country's monarch, Queen Beatrix, as well as the Dutch government. The parliament building is housed in the Binnenhof, a beautiful collection of buildings on a lake in the center of the city, which has been at the center of Dutch politics for centuries. During your stay, don't miss the great art collection at the Mauritshuis, De Passage, a boutique shopping mall dating back to the 19th century. B

DAY 5 - THE HAGUE
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy another day in The Hague. Why not visit the Madurodam, a miniature city where you can see all of the Netherlands' landmarks in one place! (Overnight in The Hague) B

DAY 6 - THE HAGUE
After breakfast, why not set out for some more exploring? The city is an important political, historic and cultural hub, with excellent sightseeing to be found in the Plein and Grote Markt squares and Europe's biggest outdoor market. In the evening, enjoy the trendy restaurants, sidewalk cafes and bars in Prinsestraat or at the beach that merge a wide variety of delicious world cuisines. (Overnight in The Hague) B

DAY 7 - DEPART THE HAGUE
After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and continue with your travels. If you wish to extend your vacation, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail Vacation Experts will be happy to assist you with the details. B
