DAY 1 - ARRIVE IN LONDON
Your vacation begins in London, where you'll check in to your hotel for a two night stay. (Overnight in London)

DAY 2 - LONDON
After breakfast at your hotel this morning, why not visit the world-famous department store Harrods or peruse the chic boutiques along the Kings road. For an aerial view down the river Thames, climb aboard the London Eye and enjoy the sights of the city from this giant moving structure. London has many green spaces to relax in such as Hyde Park, Regents Park and St James's Park, each with their own distinct personality. Come the evening, why not treat yourself to an exciting West End show or have drinks at the opulent Ritz hotel. (Overnight in London) B

DAY 3 - VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS DEPARTS LONDON
This morning, board the gleaming carriages of the British Pullman train at London Victoria station. Your steward will show you to your seat which is surrounded by stunning décor and memories of journeys gone by. Sit back and enjoy brunch with a glass of Bellini as you travel through the pretty Kentish countryside. After crossing the channel to Calais, board the blue and gold carriages of the Continental Wagons-Lits.
After you have settled into your comfortable private compartment, where your personal steward will ensure you have everything you require, it will soon be time to dress for dinner. Visit the famous bar car for an Agatha Christie Bellini before moving on to one of the magnificent restaurant cars, where you will be served a delicious four-course dinner. After dinner, return to the bar car, where the sound of a baby Grand Piano will serenade you throughout the evening. Retire to your compartment for the night, which has now been transformed into a cozy bedroom by your steward. (Overnight on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express) BR, D

DAY 4 - VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS THROUGH THE SWISS ALPS TO VENICE
Awake to the magnificent scenery of the Swiss Alps as a delicious continental breakfast is served in your compartment. Relax as the scenery rolls by or take a trip to the bar car for a coffee. At lunchtime, enjoy a leisurely three course meal served in another of the beautiful restaurant cars. Make a visit to the onboard boutique to purchase souvenirs, or return to your compartment as the train travels through the Italian Dolomites. Later, your steward will bring a sumptuous afternoon tea. Prepare to disembark in the early evening as the train crosses the Venetian Lagoon and arrives at Santa Lucia station, where a shared taxi transfer service will take you to your hotel. DAY 5 - VENICE
After breakfast this morning, being wandering the winding canals of this beautiful, historic city. Famous attractions not to be missed include St. Mark's Square with its sumptuous Basilica and imposing Campanile which you can climb for great city views. Also worth visiting is the nearby Doge's Palace, where it's a good idea to take a tour so that you can fully appreciate the history of this stunning building. Perhaps take a trip to the Lido by waterbus and relax on the sandy beaches. And why not venture to the Rialto markets and shop for local specialities before admiring the incredible collection of modern art at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. (Overnight in Venice) B

DAY 6 - VENICE TO ROME
After breakfast, sit back and relax on your scenic journey to Rome. Pass quaint Italian villages and rolling fields before arriving at Rome Termini. On arrival in Rome, check in at your hotel for a two night stay. Marvel at the impressive Roman Forum and take in the pleasant views from the top of Palatine Hill. For a bit of retail therapy, head to the Via del Corso, offering all kinds of designer and high street brands. (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 7 - ROME
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and then continue sightseeing. Why not pay a visit to the enchanting Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore today? (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 8 - DEPART ROME

Hotel Ariston Rome

Located in the centre of Rome, just a stone's throw from Termini Station, the Ariston Hotel provides a fantastic vantage point for exploring all the Italian capital has to offer.
