DAY 1 - ARRIVE IN VENICE
Your luxurious adventure begins in the lagoon-side paradise of Venice, where you will check in at your handpicked hotel for a three-night stay. Spend your first day here acquainting yourself with your surroundings. The car-free city of Venice is completely unique, boasting over 100 islands over a sparkling lagoon. Stroll through the winding cobbled streets, stopping for dinner in a quaint, local trattoria and tucking into some delicious Venetian gastronomy, accompanied by a fine glass of bubbly local Prosecco. DAY 2 - VENICE
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before setting out to explore the city. Venice's history dates back hundreds of years, and there are fascinating sights to see on almost every corner. Wander through the labyrinth of alleys to find the Piazza San Marco, the principal public square of the city. Climb to the top of the Campanile for simply stunning views over the city, canals and twinkling lagoon. You might also like to explore Doge's Palace, a Venetian Gothic masterpiece and a towering landmark in the city. (Overnight in Venice) B

DAY 3 - VENICE
After breakfast this morning, continue your adventures in Venice. Don't miss a trip on a romantic gondola ride, where a stripe-shirted gondolier will paddle you down the winding waterways of the city. It's a great way to see the city's architecture from a different perspective! For a relaxing afternoon, stroll the sandy shores of Venice's Lido or take a boat out to the island of Murano, famous for its exquisite glass-making. This evening, why not head to the world-famous Harry's Bar - home of the Bellini. (Overnight in Venice) B

DAY 4 - BOARD THE VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS
Embark on one of the world's most luxurious journeys today as you board the gleaming carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. You'll receive the five-star treatment immediately as your steward shows you to your deluxe sleeping compartment, ornately decorated with the finest linens and polished wooden panels. A fine three-course lunch will be served in one of the opulent restaurant cars, all restored from the 1920s and 1930s, as the train meanders through the stunning scenery of the Italian Dolomites, and the Austrian and Swiss Alps. While away the hours meeting new people, relaxing in the bar car and tucking into a sumptuous afternoon tea served in your compartment. DAY 5 - ARRIVAL INTO PARIS

Make your way to your hotel for a two-night stay and begin exploring the incredible ‘City of Light.' Why not shop the boutiques along the Champs-Élysées, dine on extraordinary French cuisine or head to the bohemian Montmartre district for views over the city's rooftops out to the Eiffel Tower. DAY 6 - PARIS
Spend a full day exploring the fashion and romance capital of the world! Be sure to take in the views from the top of the Eiffel Tower and perhaps enjoy a scenic boat tour along the River Seine for views of the city's famous landmarks from a different perspective. Culture lovers will enjoy a trip to the Louvre, home of the Mona Lisa. In the evening, dine at one of the city's Michelin-starred restaurants or traditional brasseries, and maybe even take in a show at the Moulin Rouge. (Overnight in Paris) B

DAY 7 - YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN PARIS
Check out of your hotel after breakfast this morning and continue with your journey. If you have remaining vacation time, speak to us about organizing train travel to another European capital city. Historic Berlin and cosmopolitan London can both be reached directly and comfortably by high-speed train. B

Le Marceau Bastille

Le Marceau Bastille Hotel is a contemporary design hotel with a choice of 55 urban or ecological style bedrooms. The beautiful Saint-Paul Rive-Gauche is located between the world-famous Sorbonne and the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens in the centre of Paris. The 17th century boutique hotel is housed in a former 17th century grand residence and is known for its beautiful arched cellar.
