Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 - GENEVA
Welcome to Switzerland! On arrival, make use of your Swiss pass and head to your hotel for a two-night stay. 

DAY 2 – WATCHMAKING IN GENEVA
Today, you will learn the art of watchmaking and take home your own Swiss watch.  A master watchmaker will show you the fundamentals of this treasured art and guide you through the delicate stages of assembling your watch and its mechanical movements. Using miniature screwdrivers and tweezers, choose the components of your timepiece and enjoy the unique thrill and satisfaction of mastering this specialist Swiss art, which is recognized throughout the world. Later, enjoy a stroll around the beautiful Old Town of Geneva. (Overnight in Geneva) B 

DAY 3 - LAUSANNE
At a time of your choosing, hop on to any train to Lausanne and make use of your Swiss Pass to reach your hotel. Take a stroll along the lakeside to the beautiful grounds of the Olympic Museum, then explore its fantastic collection of artifacts or challenge yourself against some of the world’s best athletes. In the evening, head up the hill to the city centre and enjoy dinner under the shadows of the impressive Lausanne Cathedral. (Overnight in Lausanne) B  

DAY 4 – LAVAUX VINEYARDS
After breakfast embark on a VIP tour of the world UNESCO World Heritage Site Lavaux vineyards. Explore these steep vineyards onboard a luxury eight-seater open-top coach and indulge in a tasting of some of the finest local wines. You’ll discover the beauty of the Alps, Lake Geneva, and picturesque villages along the way. Later, slowly make your way back to Lausanne along the most scenic stretch of road in the region. (Overnight in Lausanne) B 

DAY 5 – LAUSANNE TO MONTREUX
Take to the water today for a CGN cruise ship bound for Montreux. During Spring, Summer, and Autumn, you may ride upon a beautifully restored paddle-steamer ship. Onboard, there is a belle epoque-style restaurant serving great local food and wine, or you can simply spend your time onboard in a comfy deckchair watching the passing scenery.  On arrival into Montreux, head to your hotel and check in for your three-night stay, then take a stroll along the flower lined lakefront before dinner.  (Overnight in Montreux) B 

DAY 6 – CHATEAU DE CHILLON DAY TRIP
Make use of your Swiss Pass today with a short boat ride to Chillon Castle and discover some amazing stories of this incredible monument.?Stroll back along the lake and perhaps pop into the infamous Montreux Casino to learn more about its fascinating musical history, or head to Vevey and pay a visit to the museum dedicated Charlie Chaplin, a former resident. (Overnight in Montreux)?B 

DAY 7 – ROCHERS-DE-NAYE DAY TRIP
Ride the historic cog railway line from Montreux up to Rochers-de-Naye for one of the best views Switzerland has to offer.?If travelling between May and June, you’ll pass through spectacular fields of flowering narcissus.?At the top don’t be surprised to bump into a wild marmot or two, but also rare plants and flowers such as the famous Edelweiss.?Enjoy lunch in the traditional Plein Roc restaurant before a short stroll to nearby La Rambertia gardens. Later, head back down the mountain.?For your final night on the Swiss Riviera, perhaps enjoy a cocktail and some live music in the famous Montreux Jazz Café? Its walls are lined with historic posters and souvenirs of the world-famous Jazz Festival. (Overnight in Montreux)?B 

DAY 8 – END OF TOUR
