DAY 1 – DUBLIN
After arriving into Dublin, make your own way to your hotel. Once checked in, it is time to see what Dublin has to offer. Perhaps see the Book of Kells at Trinity college or visit one of Dublin’s free museums? The National Museum Dublin is just one of the city’s must-visit museums, housed within a lovely Palladian building from 1890. The National Gallery of Ireland includes wonderful European and Irish fine art, with an acclaimed collection of works by Irish painter Jack B. Yeats. Soak up the past and see Irish designs through the ages at the National Museum of Decorative Arts and History in Collins Barracks. You could also head to the Hugh Lane Gallery to see the world-renowned Francis Bacon Studio. Included is a skip-the-line ticket to the Guinness. It’s Ireland’s number one visitor attraction – a gleaming multimedia exhibition on everything from retro advertising to the craft of brewing, topped off with a pint in the 360-degree Gravity Bar. Can you think of a better way to end your first day? (Overnight in Dublin)

This afternoon enjoy a true taste of Irish history. On your Jameson Experience tour of the old Midleton distillery, you’ll learn about the distillation process, visit a restored 19th-century warehouse where Jameson is aged in oak casks, and even have an opportunity to sample some of the finished product. Discover the processes involved in creating Jameson’s beloved spirit by sipping on a glass of Jameson whiskey or a Jameson-based cocktail in the bar. (Overnight in Cork) B
