Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN COLOGNE
Your vacation begins in the Rhine-side city of Cologne. On arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay. If Cologne is famous for one thing, it's its magnificent Gothic Dom. This cathedral is one of the largest of its kind and conveniently located just outside the train station. Perhaps see the city from the water on a riverboat cruise along the Rhine or pay a visit to the Chocolate Museum. (Overnight in Cologne)

DAY 2 - COLOGNE TO MUNICH
After breakfast in your hotel, make your way to the station and travel south east from Cologne to Munich on a high-speed ICE service. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. The Bavarian capital has so much to offer! Perhaps explore the elaborate interiors of the Residenz, home to the Wittelsbachs who ruled Bavaria from the 15th century until World War I. A vast collection of their treasures including fine tapestries, furniture, works of art and bronze sculptures can still be viewed today. Don't miss the Nymphenburg Palace, set amongst beautiful gardens with lakes and canals, or the Frauenkirche, a Gothic landmark dating back to the 15th century. (Overnight in Munich) B

DAY 3 - MUNICH
Today get acquainted with Munich the easy way on your flexible hop-on hop-off city bus tour. Check out Munich’s main highlights seated aboard an open-top double-decker bus, listen to the enlightening onboard commentary, and enjoy panoramic views of sites such as the Marienplatz, Hofbrauhaus, Viktualienmarkt and more. Hop off at the stops that interest you, explore on foot and then re-board the bus at any stop you wish all at your own pace. (Overnight in Munich) B

DAY 4 - MUNICH TO BERLIN
After breakfast in your hotel, check out and enjoy the rest of the morning in Munich. Make your way to the station and journey north on a high-speed ICE train to Berlin. Why not visit the restaurant car on board and enjoy lunch as you travel through Germany. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel and check in for a three-night stay. Once you've settled in, perhaps peruse the shops on Potsdamer Platz or enjoy an evening meal in one of the city's restaurants. (Overnight in Berlin) B

DAY 5 - BERLIN
Spend two nights in this lively capital city, amidst a wealth of historic monuments, interesting museums, plus many shops and restaurants serving international cuisine. Explore the best of the city with your Berlin city card and enjoy discounts at 200 highlights and attractions. Including sites such as the TV Tower, Sanssouci Palace, and several tours and museums. Don't miss the infamous Checkpoint Charlie and accompanying museum, explaining the history of this boundary between East and West Berlin during the Cold War. (Overnight in Berlin) B

DAY 6 - BERLIN
Why not take in the stunning views of the city from the top of the Reichstag or maybe see the animals at Berlin Zoo. Alternatively, take a stroll through the peaceful gardens of the Tiergarten or why not treat yourself to a meal at the revolving restaurant at the top of the Fernsehturm/TV Tower. DAY 7 - DEPART BERLIN

Right on the doorstep to the main train station, the IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof is just a few short steps away from the city and everything it has to offer in terms of shopping and entertainment. Berlin's hotspots are easy to reach on foot: Federal Chancellery (approx. 6 minutes), Brandenburg Gate (approx. 20 minutes), Potsdamer Platz (approx. 30 minutes).

InterCityHotel Berlin Ostbahnhof

The IntercityHotel Ostbahnhof is conveniently located in Berlin next to the Ostbahnhof train station. The Spree River is within easy walking distance (approx. 5 min), and the Mercedes-Benz Arena is only about 9 minutes away. Using public transport, the Brandenburger Gate and Berlin Mitte can be easily reached in approx. 15 minutes.
