Venice Holiday via the Alps (Zurich and Turin)

Travel via Zurich (where you stop overnight), before travelling through stunning Alpine scenery, alongside Lake Lugano and through Milan into Italy. Spend 3 nights in Venice, before travelling up to Turin where you stop off for one night before travelling through the D'Aosta Valley (look out for glimpses of Mont Blanc) on your way back to London.

This package includes return Eurostar and onward train travel, train transfers between cities and central hotels with breakfast.

London to Zurich - Day 1

Hotel du Théâtre

Travel from London to Paris by Eurostar, before transferring onto the train to Zurich. On arrival check-in for 1 night at the Hotel du Théâtre in Zurich.

The Hotel du Théâtre in Zurich is a historic hotel which was a theatre during the 1950s. The hotel has 50 contemporary and individually designed and furnished bedrooms, a cinema, an audio book library and a relaxing lounge. The hotel is in the centre of old Zurich.

Zurich to Venice - Day 2

Day 2 take the train from Zurich through the Swiss Alps along the Gotthard Pass, and over Lake Lugano on the Swiss border with Italy. The train travels down to Milan, before running alongside Lake Garda (look out for brief glimpses of the Lake) to Venice.

Venice - Day 2-5

Hilton Molino Stucky

Arrive in Venice where you check in for a 3 night stay at the 5* Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel.

The Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel was originally built as a flour mill in the 19th century, the building has recently been restored and now boasts a spectacular rooftop pool, a spa and five contemporary restaurants and bars. The hotel is on Giudecca Island, a few minutes by boat from St Mark's Square, the hotel has a shuttle boat.

Day 5, depart Venice train station for the 6 hour train journey to Turin.

Turin - Day 5-6

The Diplomatic Hotel

Check in for a 1 night stay at the The Diplomatic Hotel.

The Diplomatic Hotel in Turin is a traditional hotel with a restaurant and bar. The hotel is in the centre of Turin, close to the main train station.

Turin to London - Day 6

Day 6, take the train to Paris which travels through the D'Aosta Valley (look out for glimpses of Mont Blanc). On arrival in Paris transfer onto the Eurostar to London.
