London to Zurich - Day 1
Schweizerhof Zurich HotelTravel from London to Paris in Leisure Select (First Class) Eurostar, then transfer onto the TGV EST train which zips through the French countryside at speeds of 320 kmph. On arrival in Zurich you check in at your hotel the 4* Schweizerhof Zurich Hotel.
The Schweizerhof Hotel in Zurich is a traditional family-run hotel and guests are provided with a butler service on arrival. The hotel is opposite the main railway station, on the famous "Bahnhofstrasse".
Zurich to Florence - Day 2
The following morning take the direct train from Zurich to Florence enjoying spectacular scenery as you cross the Gotthard Pass with amazing views of the Swiss Alps. The train then travels down into the Italian speaking Swiss region of Ticino, passing by Lake Lugano and carrying on into Italy with glimpses of Lake Como and Milan before arriving in Florence.
Florence - Day 2-5
Savoy FlorenceA private car transfer will meet you at the station and take you to your hotel the 5* Savoy Florence Hotel.
The luxury Savoy Florence Hotel is elegantly decorated in contemporary Italian style and is situated on Piazza Repubblica, close to the Duomo, and a short walk from the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio.
Day 5, a private car transfer takes you from the hotel to the station. Depart Florence Santa Maria Novella train station for the 1 hour 40 minute First Class train journey to Rome.
Rome - Day 5-8
A private car transfer will meet you at Rome station and drive you to your hotel the Hotel de Russie.
The Hotel de Russie in Rome is a luxury hotel with terraced gardens (including a Secret Garden, and a Butterfly Oasis), a health club and spa, a restaurant and bar. The hotel is in the centre of Rome between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo on the Via del Babuino.
Day 8, a private car transfer will transport you from your hotel to Rome station.
Turin - Day 8-9
Travel by train in First Class from Rome to Turin for a 1 night stay at the 5* Grand Hotel Sitea Turin.
The Grand Hotel Sitea Hotel in Turin is an elegant hotel in the centre of Turin, just behind Piazza San Carlo.
The next morning take the train (in First Class) from Turin to Paris, this time seeing the French Alps, and travelling on through to Paris transfer onto the Eurostar (Leisure Select / First Class) to London.
