Itinerary - 7 Night Holiday By Air + Rail
Day 1 - London to Vienna
Travel by Eurostar from London to Brussels (approximately 1 hour 51 minutes). When you arrive in Brussels transfer onto the train to Cologne (approximate journey time 1 hour 45 minutes). On arrival in Cologne change onto the overnight sleeper train to Vienna. Accommodation on board the sleeper train is in a economy double sleeper carriage - upgrades are available - please call for details.
Day 2 - Budapest
The train arrives in Vienna the next morning. Transfer onto the train to Budapest which takes approximately 3 hours. On arrival check-in at the Novotel Budapest Danube.
The Novotel Budapest Danube is a contemporary hotel with 175 bedrooms. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and a fitness centre. The hotel is on the Buda side of the city, between Margaret Bridge and Chain Bridge overlooking the River Danube and the Parliament. The hotel is a short walk from Buda Castle and the shopping area.
Day 3-4 - Budapest to Belgrade
Take the Eurocity train in First Class during the day from Budapest to Belgrade, the journey time is 7 hours 45 minutes. On arrival check-in at the Zira Belgrade.
The Zira Hotel in Belgrade is a chic contemporary hotel with 125 bedrooms and suites. Relax in the Wellness Centre and enjoy a drink and lunch in the bar and bistro. The hotel is in the centre of Belgrade, just off the famous King Alexander Boulevard, close to the city centre.
Day 5-7 - Istanbul
Take the overnight sleeper train from Belgrade to Istanbul. Check-in at the Orient Express Istanbul.
The Orient Express hotel in Istanbul is a traditional hotel with 54 bedrooms. Enjoy views over the city from the hotel's restaurant roof terrace, dinner in the hotel's Mediterranean style restaurant or a swim in the indoor swimming pool. Buzzing Istanbul is a fusion of East and West. Shop for bargains in the dazzling Grand Bazaar, travel along the Bosphorous by boat or visit the famous Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque) and the huge Hagia Sophia.
