Founded by Transylvanian Saxons in the 12th Century and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city has quaint cobbled streets, ornate churches and is famous as the home of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration behind Bram Stoker's world famous Count Dracula.
