Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday By Air + Rail
Day 1 - Lausanne
Travel on Eurostar from London to Paris, where you transfer onto the train to Lausanne. On arrival in Lausanne check-in at the Alpha Palmiers.
The Alpha Palmiers Hotel is a modern hotel set around an internal courtyard. The hotel has 210 spacious and stylish air-conditioned bedrooms with modern ensuite bathrooms. The hotel has a Thai restaurant, French restaurant and a bar. The hotel is well located in a quiet area between the railway station and the main shopping district of the city.
Day 2 - Travel through the Swiss Alps
Swiss Alps
Take the train from Lausanne to Stresa around Lake Geneva. The train passes through pretty Swiss villages, mountain meadows and the journey takes approximately 3 hours.
Days 2-5 - Stresa
On arrival in Stresa check-in at the La Palma Hotel.
La Palma Hotel is a modern hotel with traditional decoration. The hotel has 120 comfortable bedrooms. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, garden, pool and private beach. The hotel is on the shore of Lake Maggiore, close to Stresa train station.
Day 6 - Stresa to London
Take the shuttle bus from Stresa to Milan airport (payable locally). Fly with British Airways from Milan to London in Euro Traveller Class.
Lausanne
Set on Lake Geneva, Lausanne has a charming old town area, mountain views across the lake and some excellent museums. Count the fountains as you explore the city - Lausanne has over 500 throughout the city!
Stresa
Stresa is an elegant Italian resort set on Lake Maggiore. Just over the border from Switzerland; Stresa has a wide boulevard alongside the lake for promenading, and plenty of water sports available on the lake.
Turin
Turin is a cultural city with many museums including Italy's National Cinema Museum in the historic Mole Antonelliana building and the Egyptian Art Museum. Don't miss sampling delicious Turin food.

Day 6 - Turin to London
Take the train from Turin to Paris, where you transfer onto the Eurostar to London.
