Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday By Air + Rail
Day 1 - Zurich
Travel from London to Paris with Eurostar, where you transfer onto the train to Zurich. On arrival in Zurich check-in at the the Hotel du Théâtre.
The Hotel du Théâtre in Zurich is a historic hotel which was a theatre during the 1950s.The hotel has 50 contemporary and individually designed and furnished bedrooms, a cinema, an audio book library and a relaxing lounge. The hotel is in the centre of old Zurich. A short walk from the train station.
Day 2 - Travel from Zurich to Como
Swiss Alps
Take the train from Zurich to Como which takes approximately 3 hours 30 minutes. You travel through the Swiss Alps, past mountain meadows, waterfalls, charming Swiss villages and snowy passes.
Days 2-5 - Como
On arrival in Como check-in at the Barchetta Excelsior Como.
The Barchetta Excelsior Hotel in Como is a historic hotel with 84 traditional bedrooms and suites. Facilities include a bar and two restaurants, including the “Barchetta” restaurant which has been operating since 1893. The hotel has also recently undergone renovations in the public area's, Lakeview rooms and junior suites.
The hotel is on the shore of Lake Como, and a few minutes walk from the centre of Como.
Day 5 - Como to London
Take the train from Como to Milan, the journey time is approximately 50 minutes, where you fly with British Airways to London.
Zurich
Situated on Lake Zurich, Zurich is Switzerland's cultural capital with excellent museums, and great shopping on the Bahnhofstrasse. Relax in one of the lakeside restaurants and cafes or explore the lively old town area.
Como
Set on Lake Como, and offering excellent views of the mountains, Lake Como is a haven for sailing and water skiing. Como is a charming resort with elegant Italian villas and historic buildings.
Turin
Italy's slow food capital, Turin, offers something for everyone, from the historic Mole Antonelliana (now Italy's Cinema Museum), several excellent art museums, to the automobile museum.

Take the train from Como to Turin, the journey time is approximately 3 hours, with a change in Milan. On arrival check-in at the Mercure Torino Crystal Palace.
The Mercure Torino Crystal Palace hotel in Turin is a modern hotel with 67 rooms and suites. The hotel also has an American bar. The hotel is located in the heart of Turin, right next to Porta Nuova train station.
Day 6 - Turin to London
The next day take the train from Turin across the Alps to Paris (approximately 5 hours 20 minutes). On arrival in Paris transfer onto Eurostar to London.
