Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday By Air + Rail
Day 1 - London to Zurich
Zurich
Travel on the Eurostar from London to Paris, where you transfer onto the famous TGV train to Zurich. Speed through the French Champagne region passing quaint French villages and picturesque countryside before arriving into Zurich in time for dinner.
Check-in at the Helmhaus Zurich for your overnight stay.
Spend an evening enjoying this friendly, cosmopolitan city. Relax by the lake, visit the famous Swiss National Museum or spend the evening in the old town district of Niederdorf, famous for its bars and restaurants serving traditional raclette and of course, delicious fondue.
Day 2 - Zurich to Rome
Lake Lugano
Take the train from Zurich through the Swiss Alps along the Gotthard Pass, and over Lake Lugano on the Swiss border with Italy. The train travels down to Milan, where you change trains before travelling through Tuscan countryside to Rome.

Day 1 - Zurich

Day 5 - Turin
Take the train from Rome to Turin (journey time approximately 6 hours) passing quaint Italian countryside, rolling streams and impressive mountain scenes all from the comfort of your seat.
On arrival in Turin check-in at the Mercure Torino Crystal Palace for your overnight stay.
Enjoy strolling the streets of Turin for an afternoon. As a city with numerous cultural institutions such as the Palazzo Carignano, home to the first Italian Parliament and the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, Turin is a dynamic and important part of Italian history.
Day 6 - Turin to London
D'Aosta Valley

Trevi Fountain
After breakfast, take the Eurocity train from Zurich to Rome via Milan. Relax whilst the train cuts through the Alps on the famous Brenner pass across the border into Italy.
