Itinerary - 7 Night Deluxe Holiday By Air + Rail
Days 1-3 - Lucca
Fly with British Airways from London to Pisa, where you take a train to Lucca (approximate train journey time 1 hour).
On arrival in Lucca check-in at the San Luca Palace Hotel.
The San Luca Palace Hotel is a historic hotel with 17 junior suites, 3 suites, 6 bedrooms. The hotel has a bar and a small garden, and is set on a medieval square in the centre of Lucca.
Days 3-5 - Siena
Take the train from Lucca to Siena, approximate journey time 3 hours, where you check-in at the Athena Hotel Siena.
The Athena Hotel in Siena has a panoramic terrace and a restaurant serving local specialities. The hotel is in the centre of Siena, a short walk from the Duomo and Piazza del Campo.
Day 6, travel by train from Siena to Florence, which takes 1 hour 30 minutes.
Days 5-7 - Florence
Travel by train from Siena to Florence, which takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, where you check in at the Hotel Kraft Florence.
The Hotel Kraft Florence is a traditional style hotel with 80 recently renovated guest rooms. The hotel features two bars including a rooftop terrace bar, the 'Terrazza Rossini' Restaurant, along with a rooftop swimming pool where you can take in the extraordinary views of Florence. The hotel is located in a residential area of Florence, only 600 metres from the railway station.
Days 7-8 - Florence to London
Take the overnight sleeper train from Florence to Paris, which arrives the next morning. In Paris transfer onto the Eurostar back to London, Ebbsfleet or Ashford.
Lucca
Lucca is a stunning Tuscan walled city (although the walls have now been replaced with tree lined avenues. The city offers historic medieval and renaissance architecture, excellent restaurants and beautiful villas and gardens set in the nearby hills.
Siena
Siena is one of Tuscany's classic hilltop towns. Wander along winding cobbled medieval streets, visit the elegant Duomo, before relaxing in one of the cafes that line the Piazza del Campo.
Florence
Florence is the classic Renaissance city, and the cultural highlight is the famous Uffizi Gallery. The 15th century Duomo is Florence's most recognisable landmark, although the city has hundreds of beautiful churches. The oldest bridge in Florence is Ponte Vecchio, with its jewellery shops and boutiques.
San Luca Palace Hotel

Itinerary - 8 Night Deluxe Holiday By Rail
Days 1-2 London to Lucca
Travel from London to Paris by Eurostar, then transfer onto the overnight sleeper train to Florence, which arrives the next morning. On arrival in Florence transfer onto the train to Lucca (journey time 1 hour 15 minutes).
Days 2-4 - Lucca
Arrive for a 2 night stay at the San Luca Palace Hotel.

Day 4 take the train from Lucca to Siena, approximate journey time 3 hours.
