Itinerary - 5 Night Luxury Holiday By Air + Rail
Day 1 - London to Zurich
Travel from London to Paris in Leisure Select (First Class) Eurostar, then transfer onto the TGV EST train which zips through the French countryside at speeds of 320 kmph. On arrival in Zurich you check in at your hotel the Schweizerhof Hotel.
The Schweizerhof Hotel in Zurich is a traditional family-run hotel and guests are provided with a butler service on arrival. The hotel is opposite the main railway station, on the famous "Bahnhofstrasse".
Day 2 - Zurich to Florence
The following morning take the direct train from Zurich to Florence enjoying spectacular scenery as you cross the Gotthard Pass with amazing views of the Swiss Alps. The train then travels down into the Italian speaking Swiss region of Ticino, passing by Lake Lugano and carrying on into Italy with glimpses of Lake Como and Milan before arriving in Florence.
Days 2-4 - Florence
Check in at your hotel the Savoy Florence Hotel.
The luxury Savoy Florence Hotel is elegantly decorated in contemporary Italian style and is situated on Piazza Repubblica, close to the Duomo, and a short walk from the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio.
Day 4, depart Florence Santa Maria Novella train station for the 1 hour 40 minute First Class train journey to Rome.
Days 4-6 - Rome
Check in at your hotel the Hotel de Russie.

Fly with British Airways from Rome to London.
Florence
Florence is a stunning city with cultural gems around every corner. Visit Michelangelo's David at the Galleria dell'Accademia, or head to the Uffizi gallery for works of art by Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli and Giotto.
Rome
Rome is known as the Eternal City, with historic architecture including the Colosseum, the independent state of the Vatican and trattorias, you must throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain to ensure your return trip to Rome!
Schweizerhof Hotel

Day 1 - London to Zurich

Travel by train in First Class from Rome to Turin for a 1 night stay at the Grand Hotel Sitea Turin.
The Grand Hotel Sitea Hotel in Turin is an elegant hotel in the centre of Turin, just behind Piazza San Carlo.
The next morning take the train (in First Class) from Turin to Paris, this time seeing the French Alps, and travelling on through to Paris transfer onto the Eurostar (Leisure Select / First Class) to London.
