Strasbourg is one of France's most beautiful cities, with a mixture of German Gothic architecture, and French café society. Some would say it's the best of both worlds - German beer and French wine; German efficiency and French cuisine. Watch the world go by from the square's pavement cafés or excellent restaurants, explore the city on one of the efficient futuristic trams, or wander along the canals of the Petite France area.

Freiburg

Freiburg

Set near the Black Forest, Freiburg is a charming German city. Visit one of the oldest Cathedral's in Europe, and climb to the top of the tower for views over the city, watch out for the Bächle (small canals that cross the city), or spend a day hiking in the Black Forest.

Cologne

Cologne

The historic city of Cologne on the River Rhine offers something for every visitor. Climb to the top of the Gothic Cathedral for views across the city and the surrounding countryside, visit the chic modern art museum or indulge your sweet tooth at the Chocolate Museum.
