Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday By Rail
Day 1 - London to Paris
Board the Eurostar and speed under the English Channel before arriving in Paris just over 2 hours later.
Check in at the La Tour D'Auvergne.
Spend the rest of you day exploring your favourite places in Paris. Whether it be a trip to the breathtaking Louvre museum, a visit to the 12th Century Notre Dame Cathedral or cruising the River Seine, Paris is yours to discover.
Relax in the evening in one of the many fashionable districts of Paris. Catch a performance at the beautiful Opéra Garnier, Paris' largest opera house or book dinner at one of the traditional Parisian restaurants.

Day 2 - Paris
Eiffel Tower
Spend your second day in Paris uncovering even more of what the city has to offer. Take a trip up the famous Eiffel Tower at sunrise or sunset for fabulous views across Paris. Spend an afternoon shopping on the Champs Elysees, well-known for its designer delights and glamorous locals or visit the Basilique du Sacre Coeur, renowed for its beautilful architecture.

Day 3 - Paris to Lyon
Travel from Paris to Lyon aboard the high speed TGV to Lyon. Journey time is approximately 2 hours from Paris Gare De Lyon station.
Check in at the Grand Hotel Des Terreaux.
Capital of the Rhône Alpes area, Lyon is perfect for a short break. Visit the Cathédrale St. Jean, dating back to the 12th century and noted for its unusual astronomical clock or relax in the Parc de la Tête de l'Or, a beautiful park featuring a lake and stunning botanical gardens. Alternatively, stop for afternoon tea at the Lyon Opera House.
Day 4 - Lyon
Lyon
Le Vieux Carré, or old city, is the heart of Lyon. Discover more of its Old World attractions such the Place Bellecour and the Amphitheatre of the Les Trois Gauls. Browse the charming shops and dine at a “bouchon" café, specialising in traditional Lyonnaise cuisine.
With more restaurants per Gothic and Renaissance square metre of the old town than anywhere else on earth, you are assured to find plenty of options for a traditional feast. Don’t leave Lyon without sampling a drop of typical Cotes-du-Rhone or Hermitage wine!

Day 5 - Lyon to London
Lille
Travel back to Paris on the high-speed TGV before transferring onto your Eurostar back to London.
