Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday By Rail
Day 1 - London to Ghent
Travel on Eurostar from London to Brussels, the approximate journey time is 1 hour 51 minutes. In Brussels transfer onto the train to Ghent which takes approximately 30 minutes.
Days 1-3 - Ghent
On arrival in Ghent check-in at the Novotel Gent Centrum.
The Novotel Gent Centrum Hotel has 117 modern bedrooms. The hotel has an outdoor pool (usually open May to September), and a contemporary bar and restaurant. The hotel is located in the historical centre of Ghent, close to the town hall, Belfry Tower, St Bavo cathedral, museums and shops.
Days 3- 5 - Brussels
Day 3, take the train from Ghent back to Brussels (approximately 30 minutes). Check-in for a 2 night stay at the Leopold Hotel Brussels.
The Leopold Hotel Brussels is a historic family run hotel, with spacious and newly renovated executive bedrooms. The hotel is housed in 19th century townhouses and features a gourmet restaurant and Italian indoor terrace brasserie. The hotel is located in the centre of the Brussels, within walking distance of the Magritte Museum, European Parliament, Grand Place and Royal Palace.
Day 5 - Brussels to London
Travel on Eurostar from Brussels to London, approximate journey time 1 hour 51 minutes.

Ghent is a charming university city with medieval cobbled streets and a picturesque river. Visit the 12th century Castle of the Counts of Flanders, sail through the city on a boat trip or enjoy a warm Belgian waffle.
Brussels
Brussels is a vibrant multi-cultural city with a rich history. Relax in the huge Grand Place, shop for antiques, soak up the culture in one of the many museums and art galleries or enjoy a gourmet dinner at a restaurant.
