Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday By Rail
Days 1-2 - Brussels
Take the Eurostar from London to Brussels (journey time approximately 1 hour 51 minutes). On arrival check in for 1 night at the Leopold Hotel Brussels.
The Leopold Hotel Brussels is a historic family run hotel, with spacious and newly renovated executive bedrooms. The hotel is housed in 19th century townhouses and features a gourmet restaurant and Italian indoor terrace brasserie. The hotel is located in the centre of the Brussels, within walking distance of the Magritte Museum, European Parliament, Grand Place and Royal Palace.
Days 2-4 - Ypres
Travel by train from Brussels to Ypres, approximately 1 hour 35 minutes. On arrival check-in for your 2 night stay at the Novotel Ypres Centrum. A third night free is available - please call for details.

Flanders Fields
No visit to Ypres is complete without a guided visit to the Flanders fields. On a half day trip your guide will explain the moving history as you visit sites including Hill 60, Bayernwald trench complex, Bedford House Commonwealth cemetery and ANZAC and Canadian sites.
Day 4-5 - Lille
Take the train from Ypres to Lille in just 1 hour 20 minutes. On arrival check-in for 1 night at the Mercure Lille Centre Opera.
The Mercure Lille Centre Le Royal Hotel is a traditional building including an original staircase, and stained glass windows. The hotel is in the centre of Lille close to the Opera, Lille's historical old town area, and the Grand Place. The hotel is just a short walk from Gare Lille Europe Station.
Day 5
Travel on Eurostar from Lille to London - only 1 hour 20 minutes.
Brussels
Brussels' medieval marketplace is one of the biggest and best preserved in Europe. Don't miss shopping for antiques in the Sablon, and sampling the delights of Belgian beer and mouth-watering chocolates.
Ypres
Famous for the First World War battlefields known as Flanders fields, Ypres is a charming Belgian town. A highlight is the moving "Last Post" ceremony which takes place every night at Menin Gate.
Lille
Just 1 hour 20 minutes from London by Eurostar, Lille is great for shopping (stock up on French cheeses), and some of the best museums and art galleries in France outside Paris.
