Itinerary - 6 Night Holiday By Rail
Day 1 - London to Brussels
Brussels
Travel on Eurostar from London to Brussels, which takes around 1 hour 50 minutes. On arrival check-in at the Hilton Brussels City
Relax in one of the cafes which line the city's avenues and squares or stroll around one of the many museums. Brussels is also the perfect place for shopping; from designer boutiques to fashion and craft shops, Brussels has it all!
After a busy day of wandering around this historic city, enjoy a meal in one of the superb restaurants.
Day 2 - Brussels
Brussels
Spend the day at leisure exploring Brussels.
Why not visit the famous Magritte Museum to view over 200 original paintings, drawings and sculptures of the surrealist artist René Magritte.
You could also visit the unique piece of architecture that is the Atomium or enjoy a traditional Belgian lunch at the newly renovated Chez Leon in the heart of Brussels!
Days 3-4 - Luxembourg
Luxembourg
Travel from Brussels to Luxembourg, which takes approximately 3 hours. On arrival check-in at the Grand Hotel Mercure Alfa Luxembourg.
Enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes around the Place d'Armes square, explore the cobbled streets and historical buildings of the old town area or wander around the 17th century Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Day 5 - Cologne
Moselle Valley
Travel from Luxembourg to Cologne, which takes approximately 3 hours 20 minutes. On arrival check-in at the Marriott Cologne Hotel.
The journey from Luxemboug to Cologne takes you through the scenic Moselle Valley. Enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and Moselle river from the comfort of your seat!
Day 6 - Cologne
Cologne
Visit Cologne's Chocolate Museum for a tasting, relax in a traditional bar and sample the local specialty beer kolsch, then head up to the top of the Dom for fabulous views over the city.
Put the perfect end to your holiday by enjoying a relaxing meal at one of the many restaurants the city has to offer.
Day 7 - Cologne to London
Travel by train from Cologne to Brussels, where you transfer onto Eurostar to London.

Brussels

Luxembourg
Luxembourg may be one of the smallest countries in Europe however it has plenty of culture and personality to make up for it! The cosmopolitan capital is perched high on top of a rocky hill, overlooking the Rivers Pétrusse and Alzette, offering great views from the city's terraces and parks both day and night. Luxembourg City was originally a Habsburg fortress and parts of the original walls and fortifications remain. It is now a UNESCO world heritage site. Luxembourg is a lively city with gourmet restaurants, outdoor bars and cafés and excellent nightlife.
Cologne
Visit Cologne's famous gothic Cathedral with its twin spires for fabulous views across the city. The Chocolate Museum on the bank of the Rhine is the perfect place for travellers with a sweet tooth, or absorb the culture in the Ludwig museum for modern art.
