Travel from London to Brussels on Eurostar, the journey time is approximately 1 hour 51 minutes. On arrival check-in for 2 nights at the Leopold Hotel Brussels.
Spend 2 days exploring all that Brussels has to offer. Relax in one of the cafes which line the city's avenues and squares or stroll around one of the many museums. Brussels is also the perfect place for shopping; from designer boutiques to fashion and craft shops, Brussels has it all!
After a busy day of wandering around this historic city, enjoy a meal in one of the superb restaurants such as Aux Armes de Bruxelles

Cologne
Take the train from Brussels to Cologne which takes approximately 1 hour 47 minutes. On arrival check-in at the Art'Otel Cologne.
Cologne is a very cosmopolitan city, with the famous Dom which took over 600 years to complete, dominating the sky line.
Visit Cologne's Chocolate Museum for a tasting, relax in a traditional bar and sample the local specialty beer kolsch, then head up to the top of the Dom for fabulous views over the city.

Railbookers recommendsCologne has a fantastic Christmas market which is well worth a visit in the run up to Christmas. If you can, though, try and avoid the crowds at weekends as you will find the queues for Glühwein much more bearable in the week!
Day 5 - Cologne to London
Cologne Central Station
Travel by train from Cologne to Brussels, where you transfer onto Eurostar to London.

Brussels is the capital of Belgium, and is famous for beer and chocolate. But you will also find a perfectly preserved medieval town square, glorious gothic architecture, antiques shops and some of the best art galleries and museums in Europe.
Cologne
Visit Cologne's famous gothic Cathedral with its twin spires for fabulous views across the city. The Chocolate Museum on the bank of the Rhine is the perfect place for travellers with a sweet tooth, or absorb the culture in the Ludwig museum for modern art.
