Days 1-3 - Brussels
Brussels
Travel on Eurostar from London to Brussels, which takes around 1 hour 50 minutes. On arrival check-in at the Leopold Hotel Brussels.
Spend 2 days exploring all that Brussels has to offer. Relax in one of the cafes which line the city's avenues and squares or stroll around one of the many museums. Brussels is also the perfect place for shopping; from designer boutiques to fashion and craft shops, Brussels has it all!
After a busy day of wandering around this historic city, enjoy a meal in one of the superb restaurants such as Aux Armes de Bruxelles
Brussels Grand Place

Days 3-5 - Aachen
Aachen Town Hall
Take the High Speed Thalys train to Aachen, which takes just over 1 hour.
On arrival in Aachen check-in at the Novotel Aachen City Hotel.
Spend 2 days at leisure exploring the historical streets of Aachen. One of the must see sights in Aachen is the famous Cathedral which dates back to the 9th century. The Rathaus (town hall) which is located in the city centre is also worth visiting.
There are also many museums that you can visit including the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum, International Press museum and Couven.
Frankenberg Castle is 15 minutes walk east of Aachen city centre, and is a complete medieval moated castle dating from 14th century. The Castle is also home to the Aachen History Museum.
After a busy day exploring the city why not enjoy a relaxing meal at the cities restaurants or go for a drink in one of the many bars the city has to offer.

Day 5 - Aachen to London
Eurostar
Travel on Thalys from Aachen to Brussels, where you transfer onto the Eurostar from Brussels to London.
Brussels
Brussels offers excellent shopping from designer boutiques to craft shops, hundreds of varieties of Belgian beer, mouthwatering Belgian chocolates, and gourmet restaurants. Brussels is also home to the European Parliament.
Aachen
The city of Aachen is on the border of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, and is famous for its hot natural spa waters. Wander along Aachen's historic streets, visit the museums in the city centre, and don't miss the famous Cathedral.
