Day 1
London to Zurich
Travel on the Eurostar to Paris, where you transfer onto the famous TGV train to Zurich. Speed through the French Champagne region passing quaint French villages and picturesque countryside before arriving into Zurich in time for dinner.
Check in at the Hotel du Théâtre for your overnight stay.
Zurich is an elegant Swiss city, located on the banks of the River Limmat. The city is one of Europe's cultural hubs, featuring an impressive number of art galleries and museums, among which the Kunsthaus is the most well-known. Spend the evening in the Old Town by Lake Zürich, enjoying the wide variety of bars, restaurants and fashion shops.
Day 2
Zurich to Verona
After breakfast, board the direct service from Zurich through the Swiss Alps to Verona. The route of this spectacular journey follows the shores of Lake Lucerne before plunging through the Gotthard Pass. Travel down through high mountain passes, wide green valleys and alpine villages perched precariously on the hillsides. Look out for a glimpse of Lake Lugano as you cross the border into Italy at Chiasso.
On arrival in Verona, check in for a 2 night stay at the Best Western Firenze Hotel .
Day 3
Verona
Spend a full day exploring Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Full of magic from the glory days of the Roman Empire, Verona is an Italian gem; brimming with stunning architecture, fine Italian delicacies and Shakespearian romance. Explore the ancient amphitheatre, constructed in 30AD and still home to many musical and theatre productions.
Wander through the mausoleum of Arche Scaligere tombs surrounded by evil-looking iron gates and the final resting place of the Scaligeri princes and of course, don’t miss the celebrated home of Juliet and visit Casa di Giulietta to relive the famous scenes between Montague and Capulet. Spend your evenings sipping a glass of Veronese wine in one of the pretty piazzas or book a trip to the Opera for a night to remember!
Day 4
Verona to Venice
After breakfast catch the direct service from Verona Porta Nuova station to Venice. Journey through the Italian countryside by Intercity train before arriving into Venice Santa Lucia station.
Check in at the excellent Ca' Dei Conti Venice for a 3 night stay. This beautiful hotel is situated right on the Grand Canal opposite Santa Lucia station.
Days 5 and 6
Venice
Spend two days visiting some of Venice's fabulous sights and attractions.
Possibly more than any other city in the world, Venice’s reputation precedes it. But, if you’ve not been before you are in for a treat, because this destination more than lives up to expectations. From the azure blue of the lagoon and canals to the iconic Campanile and Doge’s palace leading into St Mark’s Square and the Basilica di San Marco, there’s a picture postcard view in every direction.
Climb St Mark’s Campanile for stunning views of the city, see the Grand Canal palazzos from the water with a gondola ride, get away from it all at the Peggy Guggenheim museum, hit the beach at the Lido or shop for Murano glass and Venetian carnival masks in one of the many boutiques.
Day 7
Venice to London
After a final day in Venice, travel back to London on a British Airways Euro Traveller Flight.

Zurich

The capital of Piedmont in northern Italy, Turin is a cultural city on the River Po with a stunning backdrop of Alpine peaks. Visit one of the city’s world class museums such as the National Cinema Museum and the Museo Egizio, housing the second largest collection of Egyptian artefacts in the world after Cairo. After a busy day exploring make sure you find out what the ‘slow food movement’ is all about with a meal in one of Turin’s huge selection of restaurants.
