Awake for breakfast, before arriving at the Chinese-Mongolian border. Here, you will change on to your unique, Private Train. Voyage through the vast Gobi Desert before emerging into the green hills of Mongolia.
Awake to the sights and sounds of Ulan Bator, Mongolia's capital. Transfer into Bayangol Ulan Bator for the evening before heading out to this captivating city. Visit the ancient Choijin Lama temple, shop for local crafts and in the evening, enjoy a local Mongolian music performance.
The Bayangol Ulan Bator Hotel is a modern 12 story building set in landscaped gardens. The restaurant is one of the largest in Mongolia and offers traditional and Mongolian food. The Health Club offers massages, a gym and a sauna. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Ulan Bator.

Today, you will discover the beauty of Lake Baikal. After breakfast, arrive at the old station which is located on the banks of the lake. Explore the wonderful scenery and capture its magnificence with two photo shoots. Have a swim in the lake or alternatively visit Baikal Village, a picturesque village located next to the waters.

Between Moscow and the Chinese-Mongolian border in Erlian (and vice versa) your Private Train offers five different compartment categories ranging from the budget category with shared facilities to the best possible comfort available on the Trans-Siberian route with private facilities. No matter which compartment type you choose, all of them are about twice as large as typical European sleeping car compartments.
Standard Cabin
In the ”STANDARD” CATEGORY (I), there are nine compartments per car, each for 3 or 4 guests. On both sides, left and right, there are two berths, one upon the other and each of them sized 70x190cm. In the middle, below the window, you will find a table. Combined toilet/lavatory compartments are located at each end of the car.
Standard Plus Cabin
In the STANDARD PLUS CATEGORY (II), there are 9 compartments per car. A compartment is shared by two guests. Berths are sized app. 70 x 190 cm and arranged facing each other. There is also a table under the window. Combined toilet/lavatory compartments are located at each end of this category’s cars. In every second car there is a shower compartment.
Nostalgic Comfort Cabin
The NOSTALGIC COMFORT CATEGORY (III) carriages are traditionally furnished with modern amenities. You’ll be travelling in an ambiance in which even former Soviet leaders would have felt at home – although with the comfort of the 21st century. Each of these rolling hotel rooms offers two large berths (app. 80 x 185 cm) and an armchair for an especially comfortable view of the changing landscapes. Two compartments share one bathroom, located in a small lavatory between every two compartments.
Bolshoi Cabin
The BOLSHOI CATEGORY (IV) is equipped with two beds, one of which measures 1,10 m x 1,90 m, even providing room for two people if required. Furthermore, the 5,57 m² large compartments offer a cosy seating bench, a commodious table and a wardrobe. The compartment’s exclusive en suite bathroom does not only contain a washing basin, WC and shower, but also enough storage space for your personal belongings. Each car of the Bolshoi category has only six compartments.
Bolshoi Platinum Cabin
The newly introduced BOLSHOI PLATINUM CATEGORY (V) features the highest possible comfort on the Trans-Siberian. Each compartment is 7,15 m² large and provided with full shower cabin, WC and washing basin. Each carriage of the PLATINUM CATEGORY contains about 5 of these magnificent cabins.

The capital city of Mongolia, Ulan Bator was originally a Buddhist centre. Most of the buildings in the city were re-built after 1945, but some notable historic buildings remain including the gold roofed Tsogchin dugan, and Bogd Khan's Winter Palace.
One of the biggest cities in Siberia, Irkutsk became the home of many artists and intellectuals who were exiled to Siberia in the 19th century for their part in the revolts against the Tsar. Visit the Taltsy Museum, an open air exhibition of architecture.
The Russian capital Moscow has a rich sense of history, incredible architecture and wonderful museums and theatres. Stand in the huge Red Square and admire the famous Kremlin, visit the instantly recognisable St Basil's Cathedral with its colourful onion shaped domes, or enjoy a night out at the Bolshoi.
Between Moscow and the Chinese-Mongolian border in Erlian (and vice versa) your Private Train offers five different compartment categories ranging from the budget category with shared facilities to the best possible comfort available on the Trans-Siberian route with private facilities. No matter which compartment type you choose, all of them are about twice as large as typical European sleeping car compartments.
Standard Cabin
In the ”STANDARD” CATEGORY (I), there are nine compartments per car, each for 3 or 4 guests. On both sides, left and right, there are two berths, one upon the other and each of them sized 70x190cm. In the middle, below the window, you will find a table. Combined toilet/lavatory compartments are located at each end of the car.
Standard Plus Cabin
In the STANDARD PLUS CATEGORY (II), there are 9 compartments per car. A compartment is shared by two guests. Berths are sized app. 70 x 190 cm and arranged facing each other. There is also a table under the window. Combined toilet/lavatory compartments are located at each end of this category’s cars. In every second car there is a shower compartment.
Nostalgic Comfort Cabin
The NOSTALGIC COMFORT CATEGORY (III) carriages are traditionally furnished with modern amenities. You’ll be travelling in an ambiance in which even former Soviet leaders would have felt at home – although with the comfort of the 21st century. Each of these rolling hotel rooms offers two large berths (app. 80 x 185 cm) and an armchair for an especially comfortable view of the changing landscapes. Two compartments share one bathroom, located in a small lavatory between every two compartments.
Bolshoi Cabin
The BOLSHOI CATEGORY (IV) is equipped with two beds, one of which measures 1,10 m x 1,90 m, even providing room for two people if required. Furthermore, the 5,57 m² large compartments offer a cosy seating bench, a commodious table and a wardrobe. The compartment’s exclusive en suite bathroom does not only contain a washing basin, WC and shower, but also enough storage space for your personal belongings. Each car of the Bolshoi category has only six compartments.
Bolshoi Platinum Cabin
The newly introduced BOLSHOI PLATINUM CATEGORY (V) features the highest possible comfort on the Trans-Siberian. Each compartment is 7,15 m² large and provided with full shower cabin, WC and washing basin. Each carriage of the PLATINUM CATEGORY contains about 5 of these magnificent cabins.
The Capital Hotel Beijing is a contemporary hotel with 599 bedrooms. The hotel offers dining in a choice of eight restaurants, and a Fitness and Health centre which includes a swimming pool, gym, and a spa. The hotel is in the centre of Beijing, close to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven.

Awake for breakfast, before arriving at the Chinese-Mongolian border. Here, you will change on to your unique, Private Train. Stop here briefly as immigration formalities take place on board before continuing to Erlian. Discover this border town's beautiful market filled with colourful goods before travelling on. Voyage through the vast Gobi Desert before emerging into the green hills of Mongolia.
Awake to the sights and sounds of Ulan Bator, Mongolia's capital. Transfer into Khan Palace Hotel for the evening before heading out to this captivating city. Visit the ancient Choijin Lama temple, shop for local crafts and in the evening, enjoy a local Mongolian music performance.
The Khan Palace Hotel offers accommodation in 102 comfortable bedrooms and suites. Cross the Mongolian/Russian border and watch as the train joins the focal route of the Transsiberian Railroad. Stop in the interesting border town of Ulan Ude and take a walk through the city streets.
Today, you will discover the beauty of Lake Baikal. After breakfast, arrive at the old station which is located on the banks of the lake. Explore the wonderful scenery and capture its magnificence with two photo shoots. Have a swim in the lake or alternatively visit Baikal Village, a picturesque village located next to the waters.
Enjoy dinner on the shores of the incredible natural wonder before boarding the train and heading for Irkutsk.

One of the biggest cities in Siberia, Irkutsk became the home of many artists and intellectuals who were exiled to Siberia in the 19th century for their part in the revolts against the Tsar. Visit the Taltsy Museum, an open air exhibition of architecture.
The Russian capital Moscow has a rich sense of history, incredible architecture and wonderful museums and theatres. Stand in the huge Red Square and admire the famous Kremlin, visit the instantly recognisable St Basil's Cathedral with its colourful onion shaped domes, or enjoy a night out at the Bolshoi.
Between Moscow and the Chinese-Mongolian border in Erlian (and vice versa) your Private Train offers five different compartment categories ranging from the budget category with shared facilities to the best possible comfort available on the Trans-Siberian route with private facilities. No matter which compartment type you choose, all of them are about twice as large as typical European sleeping car compartments.
Standard Cabin
In the ”STANDARD” CATEGORY (I), there are nine compartments per car, each for 3 or 4 guests. On both sides, left and right, there are two berths, one upon the other and each of them sized 70x190cm. In the middle, below the window, you will find a table. Combined toilet/lavatory compartments are located at each end of the car.
Standard Plus Cabin
In the STANDARD PLUS CATEGORY (II), there are 9 compartments per car. A compartment is shared by two guests. Berths are sized app. 70 x 190 cm and arranged facing each other. There is also a table under the window. Combined toilet/lavatory compartments are located at each end of this category’s cars. In every second car there is a shower compartment.
Nostalgic Comfort Cabin
The NOSTALGIC COMFORT CATEGORY (III) carriages are traditionally furnished with modern amenities. You’ll be travelling in an ambiance in which even former Soviet leaders would have felt at home – although with the comfort of the 21st century. Each of these rolling hotel rooms offers two large berths (app. 80 x 185 cm) and an armchair for an especially comfortable view of the changing landscapes. Two compartments share one bathroom, located in a small lavatory between every two compartments.
Bolshoi Cabin
The BOLSHOI CATEGORY (IV) is equipped with two beds, one of which measures 1,10 m x 1,90 m, even providing room for two people if required. Furthermore, the 5,57 m² large compartments offer a cosy seating bench, a commodious table and a wardrobe. The compartment’s exclusive en suite bathroom does not only contain a washing basin, WC and shower, but also enough storage space for your personal belongings. Each car of the Bolshoi category has only six compartments.
Bolshoi Platinum Cabin
The newly introduced BOLSHOI PLATINUM CATEGORY (V) features the highest possible comfort on the Trans-Siberian. Each compartment is 7,15 m² large and provided with full shower cabin, WC and washing basin. Each carriage of the PLATINUM CATEGORY contains about 5 of these magnificent cabins.
The Westin Beijing Hotel is a modern hotel with two 26 storey towers. Each of the 486 luxurious bedrooms and suites has a Westin Heavenly Bed® and a rainforest shower. Relax in the spa, enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or choose from one of the seven restaurants and bars for dining or drinks. The hotel is in the centre of Beijing in the financial district. The location offers excellent access to The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.

The Khan Palace Hotel offers accommodation in 102 comfortable bedrooms and suites. Lunch and dinner is served in the Euro-Asian Kitchen restaurant, or Japanese specialities in the Sakura restaurant, or Mongolian meals in the Kharakhorum restaurant and bar. The hotel is in the Bayanzurkh district of Ulan Bator.

The Irkutsk Hotel is a modern hotel with 245 bedrooms and suites. Enjoy dinner in the Medved restaurant offering European and Russian food, or the Seoul restaurant which specialises in Korean food. The hotel is in the centre of Irkutsk on the bank of the Angara River.

The Beauty Center Baltschug offers a full range of treatments for body and soul, and the Fitness Centre includes an indoor swimming pool, sauna and juice bar. The hotel is situated in the centre of Moscow a short walk from the historical St.Basil’s Cathedral and Red Square.
