Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday by Air + Rail

Day 1

London to Zurich

Travel on the Eurostar from London to Paris, where you transfer onto the TGV service direct to Zurich. Speed through the French Champagne region passing quaint French villages and picturesque countryside before arriving into Zurich in time for dinner. On arrival, check in at the Hotel du Théâtre for your overnight stay.

Spend an evening enjoying this friendly, cosmopolitan city. Relax by the lake or spend the evening in the old town district of Niederdorf, famous for its buzzing bars and restaurants.

Day 2

Zurich to Rome

After breakfast this morning, catch the train from Zurich through the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss Alps. The train travels down to Milan where you change onto a domestic service down the spine of Italy to Rome. On arrival in Rome, check in to the Mascagni Rome for your 3 night stay.

Settle into your hotel before setting off to start exploring. From the striking walls of the Colosseum to the sacred Vatican City, Rome is the largest open-air museum in the world with a huge wealth of attractions to discover.

Days 3 and 4

Rome

Spend two days discovering the Eternal City at your own pace. You'll need to plan your days carefully to make the most of your stay as there are so many famous sights to see. You can joust with gladiators at the Colosseum, gaze at the fabulous ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, walk in the footsteps of the Romans at the Forum or follow Audrey Hepburn and dare to put your hand into the Bocca della Verità to prove that you are trustworthy!

Don't miss a drink next to the Trevi Fountain or a genuine Italian gelato at the foot of the Spanish Steps.

Day 5

Rome to London

After another morning in Rome, take the train to Rome Fiumicino airport and fly back to London with British Airways in Euro Traveller Class.

Enjoy an afternoon and evening at leisure in the historical city of Turin. Discover the UNESCO World Heritage listed Residences of the Royal House of Savoy or why not visit one of the city's famous museums such as the National Museum of Cinema, housed in the iconic Mole Antonelliana?

Day 6

Turin to London

Early this morning, head to Turin Porta Susa station for your TGV service back to Paris. On arrival in Paris, transfer to the Gare du Nord for your late afternoon Eurostar back to London, Ebbsfleet or Ashford.
