Travel on Eurostar from London to Brussels (approximately 1 hour 51 minutes). On arrival in Brussels transfer onto the High Speed train to Cologne, which takes 1 hour 47 minutes. On arrival in Cologne check in at the Art'Otel Cologne for an overnight stay.
Visit Cologne's Chocolate Museum for a tasting, relax in a traditional bar and sample the local specialty beer kolsch, then head up to the top of the Dom for fabulous views over the city.
After breakfast take the train through stunning German countryside to Baden-Baden, the journey takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. You travel along the Rhine Valley, past hilltop castles, and vineyards, and from Cologne to Baden-Baden you enter the Black Forest near Baden-Baden and see it stretching before you, with mountains up to 1500m and thickly forested landscapes.
