Travel from St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International by Eurostar to Brussels and then connect on to the German ICE train to Nuremberg via Cologne. Check in at the superb Le Meridien Grand Nuremberg, situated opposite the station and where you will stay overnight.

Leave Berlin's magnificent main station in the morning and take the train in 1st class to Wroclaw in Poland, where you will arrive after lunch and check in at the Scandic Wroclaw, for an overnight stay.
Then spend the rest of the afternoon in this, little known, gem of a city. Wroclaw boasts some fascinating architecture and a lively and metropolitan cultural scene. Wroclaw was almost completely destroyed during the end of the Second World War but has now been beautifully restored and can now be counted as a highlight of any trip to Central Europe.

Nuremberg has an illustrious history and is one of the oldest centres of trade and commerce in Bavaria. This pretty city has a long history and its position in Bavaria means it is also set in some beautiful surroundings, with the majestic Alps to the south. The oldest part of the impressive Town Hall (Rathaus) contains the great ceremonial hall, which was built in the 14th century and was once the largest secular hall north of the Alps. Despite being bombed during the war, the structure has now been entirely reconstructed to its former glory.
Prague has over a thousand years of history, architecture and culture to discover. In the UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town you can wander through narrow, cobbled lanes, discover ornate churches and stumble across grand open squares including the main Old Town Square where you can see the pretty Astronomical Clock, one of the oldest and most elaborate clocks ever built. There are also many museums to choose from, including the National Museum (for history) and the National Gallery, the second oldest art gallery in Europe after the Louvre in Paris.
Berlin is a fascinating city full of history, culture, fabulous buildings and museums, along with a wide range of excellent restaurants and a strong tradition in the performing arts. There is no better place to start than the Berlin Wall; symbolising the division between capitalist West and communist East, sections of the Wall can be visited at several locations. Head up the Alexanderplatz Tower for spectacular views or visit Museum Island for some of the city’s oldest and finest museums.
Wroclaw is situated on the River Oder and is Poland's fourth largest city. Wroclaw is a city with a unique architectural and cultural make-up, best seen in its magnificent market square. Take a visit to Solny Square which is famous for its beautiful flower kiosks which are open day and night. Sit and watch the world go by from a café or why not take a visit to Wroclaw Zoo which was founded in 1865 making it the oldest zoo of Poland.
As the former capital city of Poland, Krakow has an array of historical and cultural delights to offer visiting tourists. Mixing the old and new in terms of architecture and vibe, the city has a unique character - helped in part by its roots in art, its geographical location in central Europe and its academic standing, being home to three major universities. Some of the aforementioned tourist attractions include St Mary's Tower, from where a trumpet fanfare sounds every hour, on the hour and the imposing Royal castle on the Wawel Hill.
