You arrive in Kalocsa in the morning and take a guided walking tour of the city, taking in a visit to the Archbishop's Palace. You are treated to a performance of traditional Puszta horsemanship before returning to the ship for lunch as you depart.

Return to the ship for lunch and you then have the afternoon to explore some of Belgrade's many museums or relax and watch the world go by from a café.

Relax as you cruise along the Danube River, stopping for an excursion to Kostolac, Serbia. Marvel at the archaeological site at Vimincacium, a former Roman capital with wide streets, luxurious baths and an amphitheatre which has recently been opened to the public.
Return to the ship for lunch and relax as you sail through the Lower Danube, flanked by enormous white limestone cliffs and spectacular views.
This morning you arrive in the picturesque Bulgarian port of Vidin. You then take an excursion to take in the breathtaking views from Belogradchik Fortress which was built into the Belogradchik rocks.
Lunch is served on board before you have free time to explore Vidin's city centre, including the Orthodox churches and ruins of the cities once-grand synagogue.
You then return to the ship for dinner as the ship departs.

This spacious Viking Primadonna ship can accommodate 148 guests and has a graceful catamaran-like design. Staterooms on the upper and middle decks each have a floor-to-ceiling window and private balcony, and all guests enjoy the sunlit atrium space on the middle deck. You arrive in Kalocsa in the morning and take a guided walking tour of the city, taking in a visit to the Archbishop's Palace. You are treated to a performance of traditional Puszta horsemanship before returning to the ship for lunch as you depart.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing on board this deluxe ship as you have dinner and sail towards your next destination.
Breakfast is served on board as you arrive in Vukovar. You are then taken on an excursion to Osijek. This pleasant town is famous for its baroque buildings, parks and monuments.
Return to the ship for lunch as you depart Vukovar. Spend the afternoon on board the ship and enjoy International cuisine for dinner as you sail towards Belgrade.
Wake up in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Enjoy the sights as you are taken on a guided walking tour of the city. Wander through the beautiful park which is located in the grounds of the Kalemegdan Fortress, admire the views of the Orthodox cathedral and stop off in the Square of the Republic.
Return to the ship for lunch and you then have the afternoon to explore some of Belgrade's many museums or relax and watch the world go by from a café.
Dinner is served on board and the ship departs in the late evening, giving you the opportunity to enjoy some of Belgrade's nightlife.
Relax as you cruise along the Danube River, stopping for an excursion to Kostolac, Serbia. Marvel at the archaeological site at Vimincacium, a former Roman capital with wide streets, luxurious baths and an amphitheatre which has recently been opened to the public.
Return to the ship for lunch and relax as you sail through the Lower Danube, flanked by enormous white limestone cliffs and spectacular views.
This morning you arrive in the picturesque Bulgarian port of Vidin. You then take an excursion to take in the breathtaking views from Belogradchik Fortress which was built into the Belogradchik rocks.
Lunch is served on board before you have free time to explore Vidin's city centre, including the Orthodox churches and ruins of the cities once-grand synagogue.
You then return to the ship for dinner as the ship departs.
After breakfast, you disembark at Russe for a full-day excursion to Bulgaria's former capital, Veliko Tarnovo. During this tour you will see the Tsaravets Hill and the ruins of the royal castle.
You continue to Arbanasi for lunch in a local restaurant before being taken on a guided tour of the nativity church with its floor to ceiling murals and icons.
Return to the ship for dinner and an evening departure towards your final destination, Bucharest.
Disembark the ship for the last time in Oltenita where you are then transferred to Bucharest. On arrival in Bucharest check-in at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest for an overnight stay.
Spend the rest of the day taking part in a guided half-day tour of Romania's capital city. Sights include the Arch of Triumph, the Antim Monastery, and Palace of Justice before finishing the tour at the former Royal Palace.

Travel from St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International by Eurostar to Brussels and then connect on to the German ICE train to Munich. On arrival in Munich check in at the Courtyard Munich City Centre for an overnight stay.
Munich is one of the most picturesque cities in Germany and, set in the heart of Bavaria, can offer travellers an unforgettable experience. Spend the rest of the day exploring some of the various sights and attractions.
Have breakfast in the hotel before you travel by train in first class from Munich to Budapest. On arrival in Budapest check-in at the Hilton Budapest for a 2 night stay.
Spend the rest of the day exploring Budapest at your leisure.
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before you take a tour of the Hungarian capital city. You get to explore both the "Buda" and "Pest" sides during the tour, taking in sights such as the National Opera House, the famous Chain Bridge, and Matthias Church.
After the city tour, the rest of the afternoon is free to spend in Budapest or you may choose to take an optional excursion to Visegrad, where you can enjoy the views of the Danube Bend from one of its 3 castles.
After breakfast in the hotel you check out and are transferred to the ship. Settle into your category A cabin before you have the rest of the afternoon to discover Budapest.
Why not take a panoramic city tour through the more modern “Pest” side of the city or stop in Heroes’ Square to learn more about Hungarian history.
Return to the ship for a welcome dinner and to meet other passengers.
You arrive in Kalocsa in the morning and take a guided walking tour of the city, taking in a visit to the Archbishop's Palace. You are treated to a performance of traditional Puszta horsemanship before returning to the ship for lunch as you depart.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing on board this deluxe ship as you have dinner and sail towards your next destination.
Breakfast is served on board as you arrive in Vukovar. You are then taken on an excursion to Osijek. This pleasant town is famous for its baroque buildings, parks and monuments.
Return to the ship for lunch as you depart Vukovar. Spend the afternoon on board the ship and enjoy International cuisine for dinner as you sail towards Belgrade.
Wake up in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Enjoy the sights as you are taken on a guided walking tour of the city. Wander through the beautiful park which is located in the grounds of the Kalemegdan Fortress, admire the views of the Orthodox cathedral and stop off in the Square of the Republic.
Return to the ship for lunch and you then have the afternoon to explore some of Belgrade's many museums or relax and watch the world go by from a café.
Dinner is served on board and the ship departs in the late evening, giving you the opportunity to enjoy some of Belgrade's nightlife.
Relax as you cruise along the Danube River, stopping for an excursion to Kostolac, Serbia. Marvel at the archaeological site at Vimincacium, a former Roman capital with wide streets, luxurious baths and an amphitheatre which has recently been opened to the public.
Return to the ship for lunch and relax as you sail through the Lower Danube, flanked by enormous white limestone cliffs and spectacular views.
This morning you arrive in the picturesque Bulgarian port of Vidin. You then take an excursion to take in the breathtaking views from Belogradchik Fortress which was built into the Belogradchik rocks.
Lunch is served on board before you have free time to explore Vidin's city centre, including the Orthodox churches and ruins of the cities once-grand synagogue.
You then return to the ship for dinner as the ship departs.
After breakfast, you disembark at Russe for a full-day excursion to Bulgaria's former capital, Veliko Tarnovo. During this tour you will see the Tsaravets Hill and the ruins of the royal castle.
You continue to Arbanasi for lunch in a local restaurant before being taken on a guided tour of the nativity church with its floor to ceiling murals and icons.
Return to the ship for dinner and an evening departure towards your final destination, Bucharest.
Disembark the ship for the last time in Oltenita where you are then transferred to Bucharest. On arrival in Bucharest check-in at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest for an overnight stay.
Spend the rest of the day taking part in a guided half-day tour of Romania's capital city. Sights include the Arch of Triumph, the Antim Monastery, and Palace of Justice before finishing the tour at the former Royal Palace.
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before you check out and are transferred to the airport where you fly with British Airways in Euro Traveller Class from Bucharest to London.

Hungary’s historic capital, Budapest has a huge amount to offer, from grand architecture to world-class museums. There are also over a dozen thermal spas to choose from, of which the Széchenyi Baths are the oldest, largest and grandest. Visit the Hungarian Parliament, one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings containing Hungary’s crown jewels or climb Gellért Hill for fabulous views of the majestic Buda Castle and Széchenyi Chain Bridge.
Bucharest, the capital and largest city of Romania is still a hidden gem with 500 years of history to explore. Wander around the Lipscani area to enjoy Parisian style cafés, discover fascinating eastern churches and visit Curtea Veche. Other sights include Vlad Dracula’s royal residence which is the city’s oldest monument. Move on to explore the city’s more recent history and pay a visit to the world’s second largest building – the Houses of Parliament, which also houses the Contemporary Art Museum. Do not miss the city’s parks and lakes for a lovely relaxing afternoon or go shopping for antiques or delicious Romanian wines in the historical centre.
With a wealth of museums, gardens and historic buildings, Bavaria’s capital Munich has something for everyone. Visit the Old and New Schliessheim Palaces, enjoy a performance at the Bavarian State Opera or have a picnic in the Englischer Garten, one of the largest municipal parks in Europe. In the evening, you might like to relax with a beer and a Bavarian meal in the famous 16th century Hofbräuhaus.
The Viking Primadonna Ship
This spacious Viking Primadonna ship can accommodate 148 guests and has a graceful catamaran-like design. Staterooms on the upper and middle decks each have a floor-to-ceiling window and private balcony, and all guests enjoy the sunlit atrium space on the middle deck. Built in 1998, the ship also has a sauna, whirlpool, hair salon, a sun deck with 360-degree views and two lounge/bar areas.
Food & Drink
The on board chefs freshly prepare the food for you. For breakfast choose from a selection of pastries, cereals, breakfast meats, fresh fruit and selected cheeses. Category C Staterooms are 129 sq ft in size and are all located on the main deck of the ship. They have two sofa beds and a large window that cannot be opened. Category A Staterooms are 172 sq ft in size and are all located on the upper deck of the ship. They have bigger hotel style beds and glass doors that open onto a private balcony. They have a private bathroom with shower and they also have a telephone, safe, refrigerator & hair dryer. Each stateroom has air-conditioning, space under beds for storing suitcases, a wardrobe and TV with CNN, BBC and other English channels.
The Courtyard Munich City Centre is a modern hotel with 248 spacious rooms and suites. Enjoy a meal at the hotel restaurant, Oléo Pazzo, or relax and have a drink at the hotel bar. The hotel also has a fitness centre and is centrally located close the main train station, Munich Hauptbahnhof. It is also within walking distance of the old town and Marienplatz (the main square).
