Take the train from London to Moscow with an overnight stay in Paris along the way. A classic train journey across Europe travelling through France, Germany, Poland, Belarus and Russia.
From $1,929 per person
Travel on Eurostar from London to Paris. On arrival in Paris, check in for a 1 night stay at the Hotel Champlain.
Spend the rest of today exploring all the French capital has to offer. Take a cruise along the romantic River Seine, visit the 12th Century Notre Dame Cathedral, shop for designer gifts along the iconic Champs Élysées or simply watch the world go by from a café.
In the morning take the train from Paris Gare de l'Est station and settle into your sleeping car berth. The train travels through eastern France before continuing through Germany and Poland's flatlands, pausing at the cities of Poznan and Warsaw before carrying on to the Belarus border.
At the border your carriage is hoisted into the air and the wheels are changed from the Western European gauge to the "Russian" gauge. Whilst the carriage is in the air your passport and visa will be checked (you remain on the train). The train then carries on eastwards, passing through Minsk, and continuing into Russia (with a stop in Smolensk), arriving in Moscow in the evening.
On arrival in Moscow, check in at the Park Inn Sadu Moscow where you will be staying for 3 nights. (We highly recommend you book a transfer from the station to the hotel - please call for prices).
